The room was in terrible condition. Extremely stinky, run down and filthy. The carpets were run down with dirt. The top bed sheet appeared clean, but when you lifted it up the bed cover was covered in dirt, body hair and cigarette burns. The mattress itself was covered in splatters and other various unknown substances. It was very closed off and one tiny window that would only Crack open a tiny bit. I wish I saved the Snapchat video I sent family. For the love of everything please do not go here. The only nice thing was the incredibly kind front desk woman.

It was perfect for a one night stay.

The lady at the front desk was the best. She took us up to our rooms. When I needed to purchase a few items, She took me out to the street to show me the nearest stores nearby.

Excellent booking experience! The reservation process was simple, fast, and reliable. Everything was clearly explained, and the hotel matched the description perfectly. I would definitely use this service again

The staff was very friendly helpful and knew the area. Recommended places to go to eat . Easy to find .
-
Parking is limited around 10 spots , very narrow that other cars gets scratched. Building is old and you can tell by the smell . Otherwise 3 star . Helpful staff and decent for the cost and location is downtown .

Very nice customer service, felt welcome. My only concern was we had a long bed truck and the parking is under the hotel the truck would not fit to park, so compact cars recommended

Nothing really Parking was so sketchy I know it’s downtown but dang it was so loud

Good location for visiting Portland. Lack of parking. Parking is extremely tight in garage and metered parking on street.

Older property, could use new carpeting, paint, etc. Underground parking spots are ridiculously tight. Having said that, the location in the heart of PSU district is great — 2 blocks from amazing farmers market, for instance — and the price is low.

The staff are friendly The sink was clogged and I could smell cigarettes..

Great location! Mattress made for a rough nights sleep but we survived. Thank you! The mattress was not of decent quality and could feel the springs in our back.

Very good

Centrally located mere blocks from the art museum, dozens of coffee shops, and parks. The staff is very obliging and friendly. It’s an older Motel, but my room was huge and had lots of windows. Parking was a challenge at the beginning because of the one-way streets, but I quickly figured it out. I would come again. It’s also air conditioned, which was great because Portland was having a heat wave.

The Downtown Value Inn is a budget traveler's delight. The older rooms are clean and comfy, with a microwave and refrigerator. The Inn is walking distance to most of the downtown core, and two Portland Max line have stops nearby. There is a great pizza pub on the ground floor at the east end. Free parking (space available) makes the Value Inn a great money saver. The Max line is audible on the lower floors, and could be an annoyance - select the top floor at the west end if trolly sounds are a concern.
