TownePlace Suites by Marriott Portland Airport

We love the outdoor area with the small lake behind the hotel. It’s very tranquil. However, I was very disappointed to see on my credit card after our stay was over, a charge for parking. When we checked in they reviewed the booking and it was confirmed I had prepaid for the room in total but they asked for my credit card for incidentals. I asked what are incidentals and was told- nothing only if we used anything out of the ordinary. (Seemed odd ). I was told there would a daily charge that would be refunded after checkout. At no time during my checkin was I informed there would be a charge for parking. So this whole keeping the credit card for “incidentals” seemed a bit scammy. Kinda left me with a bad feeling. Too bad because other wise we like the hotel. If you need to charge for parking just build it into the price and not seem deceiving in this hidden after charge. Sorry this happened at the end.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean! We enjoyed the patio in the morning for a peaceful breakfast. The location to the airport was just what we needed. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect airport hotel for a fast

This hotel was very clean and well kept. It’s in a great location, easy access to the freeway and airport. Close to a shopping area and restaurants. Lake front property. The draw back is that the breakfast selection could’ve been better and also they charge for parking and was not made aware of it.

Our one night stay was great. The kitchen was better equipped than other places we've stayed. We would stay there again.

This property seemed like it was brand new. Breakfast was great and the exercise room was the best we have seen in a hotel.

Breakfast was good, nice and clean rooms and nice lobby and private room to celebrate with my group for my 50th Birthday. Just wish there was a pool and hot tub. Loved restaurant right next door - Jawfish!! It was so so good!

The location is super close and convenient to the airport. Property is very new, clean, and comfortable. First floor room had a beautiful view of green trees and a pond next door. A pleasant surprise! Accessible bathroom and shower was top notch. Pull down seats, reachable knobs, space to move around, good grab bars. They really did a good job on it.

We loved everything about Towneplace Suites: location, staff, amenities. Everything was as expected. Monse checked is in and we could not have asked for a more helpful, friendly, or professional front desk person. She is fantastic. The hotel was well-appointed. We were only there for one night but we would gladly come back and stay longer.
