I like the location is perfect. The bathroom shower is so small. you get hit on the walls from taking the bath.

The room was very big and good! Location

Room clean, comfortable , staff very nice and helpful . Many restaurants nearby.

Close to restaurants, pastries, and shops. Walkable to river. Close to metro station. Was surprisedly quiet although my room faced the street. My room was very small which was okay, but would have liked a small table or luggage rack so could work on laptop or charge multiple devices. The room was clean, but the bed did not have a bottom sheet. I had to take a sheet from the other bed in the room. I am sure this was just a mistake and is not normal.

Dear Porto was a quiet guest house, handy to shops, supermarkets, and transport. The room was cozy, however, the bathroom/toilet was across the corridor, and as the passage way was shared with another guest, we had to be careful not to leave doors open! After three nights we wanted to stay a little bit longer. As Dear Porto was booked out for the next few nights we were offered alternative accomodation at their sister guest house about a block away. We accepted and if requested we can write a review for that venue as well. The disadvantage we had was that we were on the top floor and it was very difficult to lug suitcases up all those stairs. The lady on reception was very pleasant and helpful but an older gentleman who hovered around was quite grumpy. We asked if we could get a couple of small bowls so that we could eat our evening food without making a mess….but that seemed to be too much for him. We did ;get a couple of small bowls in the end.

This property was excellent and exactly as it promised to be—clean, helpful staff and a good value in an excellent location. If you are looking for fancy, this is not your spot. If you need the essentials provided to you in a clean, safe and friendly environment, stay here!

Lovely family run guest house. Simple, very clean accommodation in an excellent location. Would stay again.

The property was great for a one night stay, room was large enough and perfect to rest for the night as we walked the city for hours. It was interesting that there was a whole opening on the roof in one area of the room but i guess thats normal for countries like portugal, italy, and spain

Very pleasant staff member who was very helpful. Very clean room and bathroom. Nice bedding and decor. Very nice modern clean bathroom. Good location. Luggage storage and pick up for the luggage transfer company we used for Portuguese Camino. Steep stairs, no elevator The beds were too firm, rock hard.

It was very basic, but our room came with an attached bathroom. We had to climb 3 flights of stairs.
