Breakfast offered a wide variety of foods. Made to order dishes. Gluten free offerings. Inside or outside dining.

The property was very quiet and hidden, even though it was on a street. The location was perfect, walkable to all the sites. Our room was very comfortable, but it was the staff, especially Trish, that made it such a warm, memorable experience! The WiFi was a little spotty, and we had an issue with the sink faucet.

Great rooms, high ceilings, nice decoration, cute back garden. Toilet was a little dirty when I arrive. also it would be complementary if they would provide hotel slippers.

The staff have taken great pains to make the hotel welcoming and attractive. There are lovely touches throughout. Even the morning breakfast is attractively presented. The room was small but comfortable and very clean. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel is a bit off the beaten track but it is a very reasonable walk from busier areas and there is no shortage of restaurants within close proximity. Should we be fortunate enough to make it back to Porto, we will definitely stay at Jardins do Porto again. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Well designed accommodations with comfortable bed and quality linens. 24 hour staffing and secure entry for guests. The daily breakfast was an ample supply of pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, baked goods and coffee/teas. Eggs were available prepared per order. Very attentive and friendly staff.
-
Comfortable as well as lovely. The staff were very nice and breakfast was delicious. Not many restaurants in the neighborhood but the restaurant in the hotel was very good and quite reasonable.

The room was lovely and the giant bathroom was fantastic. Beatrice was very gracious and kind. The breakfast was a disappointment every day. The buffet was under serviced and under stocked. Staff was slow to restock everything, and seemed reluctant to restock anything without being asking for it. Although I knew it was a ‘vegetarian’ breakfast, eggs were offered. Typically, they were cold, overcooked scrambled eggs over a candle to try to keep them warm. I hate yogurt and cereal, so I hoped for some potatoes…nope. They would not put enough of anything out, such as butter for toast, and then seemed angry when we asked for it. Upon request, however, they would prepare fresh eggs for us, though they did not seem happy to do so. The floorboards in our room and throughout the hotel were extremely squeaky. I heard every time the person upstairs took a step, and I’m sure the people below me heard every step I took because the floors were so loud.

The hotel is really nice, great location, clean and has beautiful garden. Nice restaurant and a small bar. The check in is after 3:00pm with no flexibility

Couldn’t have been better in any way. Absolutely loved our stay.

Loved the hotel’s garden, dining room and bar! The style was amazing and service superb. Nothing

Comfortable boutique hotel which is really nicely designed and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely too. If you are a meat eater then worth noting that breakfast is vegetarian. The breakfast is lovely though with freshly cooked eggs to order.

An intimate and charming hotel. The building has been tastefully renovated. The spaces are well designed, and the decor is exquisite. A fantastic arrival and an excellent team for check-in and breakfast, with great attention to detail and outstanding service. However, on the second night, both our rooms had no hot water for the showers, and the same issue persisted the next morning. Breakfast was also served with significantly less attention. We had two completely different experiences over two nights.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! We were greeted very warmly and offered a delicious welcome drink despite arriving quite late. The receptionist was absolutely amazing and super helpful throughout the whole stay. The room was beautifully decorated and really appreciated the water and teas available and refreshed every day. Great location too! Just a few small things. The bathroom door didn’t close at all (it appeared half of the lock was missing entirely?). Although breakfast was nice (fresh orange juice and delicious eggs available in any style), you had to make your own coffee with a coffee machine (so no way to make a cappuccino or similar) and there wasn’t that much choice. However, I do understand not wanting to waste food which is common with buffets. It was enough for us but for those wanting a big breakfast it may not be. As I said, these are very small things that didn’t impact our stay very much, we’d definitely be back!

Really exceeded our expectations! We loved everything about our stay here - the environment, facilities, aesthetics, services and more. The vegetarian breakfast was amazing too. Would definitely recommend and return for the next time!
