Nothing special, maybe too thin walls - we heard some noise from outside doors and streets.

The property is such a beautiful work of architecture. It is placed in front of a nice square and within walking distance of city centre. The personnel is of outstanding courtesy and cordiality. On arrival, the safe box/drawer for my bed was occupied with someone else's luggage. I put mine there and CLOSED with the provided key. When back, the drawer's lock had been forced open (to take away the other goods). NOTHING was missing from my own, though. But the fact of having a lock forced is not sattisfactory.

Nice and comfortable, easy to access
-
Clean and well kept Not familiar with amenities

Location was close to many touristical attractions, room was quite big. And it was clean. Hotel stuff was pretty helpful. The location was close to metro station but if you have a big luggage the road is pretty steep. The building is pretty old eventhough it is renovated, there are pretty much things to do. On the app it shows as if the hairdryer was included but apparently it wasn’t.

First the staff João went above and to make our stay the best. I booked a hostel. It was a bit dated from the pictures. João was kind enough to show me the hostel but I wanted something with less stairs. João suggested a hotel room for same price. It was perfect for our needs. João was so helpful in many ways with directions, suggestions and very personable. Very knowledgeable and always with a smile.

Location There was a bar next to our room. People screaming until 00:30h. Impossible to sleep. After, many people talking loudly on the halls. Because there’s no reception, people feel like there’s no control. Worst night of sleep in my life

Nothing. Very dirty and tired looking. Beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Nothing like the lovely pictures on the booking.com listing. Felt more like an institution.

The manager is a local hero. He lives up to his reputation with the guests.

Big rooms, high ceilings, nice staff. Good value for the money. Walking distance to the historic center and 5 min walk to the Trinidade metro station with a direct train to the airport. The area had some sketchy people hanging around but it felt safe overall.
