viterbo'8 - The Artists House

Location

We had a wonderful stay at The Artists House. The location is excellent,very central and within walking distance of all the main attractions, restaurants, and the riverfront. The room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly baked bread, which was a lovely touch. There was nothing to dislike.

Responsive manager; had many recommendations, location was amazing and accommodations were perfect! Not anything additional to change. we had zero issues everything was awesome! only minor suggestion - need a place to hang bath towels and need to include wash cloths.

Lovely unit right in the center of the city. Easy to walk to sights, restaurants and the river. Host was very responsive.

Probably the best spot in Porto - 5 minutes proximity to all tourists destination, restaurants ( including Michelin), river cruises, tram, metro ect.

Great location - unique and beautiful rooms with views. Very clean. The breakfast basket delivered was a treat. It was difficult to get to by car due to the pedestrian barricades on the streets surrounding and parking took a while (but our host gave us the address of the closest lot). I did notice there was no hot water in the kitchen sink, counters had cleaning product residue. Otherwise perfect

Set up was great and location can’t be better. The breakfast basket surprise is an appreciated and a great detail. Minor theme. Weather in spring in Porto is humid. There are no towel racks to the towels don’t dry properly. A heated towel rack would solve the problem in a wink. Shower leaks onto the bathroom floor, and you have to use the rug and a hand towel to dry it out, so these are always wet or humid also.

Looked forward to the basket of goodies at our door every morning. Good coffee and fresh milk and juice. Kitchen was a big plus on our stay. Perfect neighborhood to stay in, close to the river and the town. Very good value, comfortable, easy, romantic, perfect. Nothing

Communication with Sofia was not that good

Location super central while quiet. Spacious, comfy and super tasteful decoration. Literally 1m away from Castro pasteis de nata bakery Sofia is very reactive.

Super cute breakfast every day, left near the doors! Very good location. Nice communication from the apartment coordinator. Really, I never write this kind of stuff usually, and generally what I am writing now is not a problem for the vast majority of people, but as I have a very sensitive sleep, I would need the roll-ups for the upper window, just right above the bed upstairs. Without that window, the sunlight was awakening me too early in the morning.

The unit was beautifully appointed and in a fabulous location. The unexpected breakfast basket was a nice touch that got our days off to great start. It would have been nice to have a few more places to hang bathroom towels to dry.

Comfortable studio in a great location - close to Ribeira and yet quiet - and, to top it all: wonderful breakfast baskets that we did not expect :)
