Nice view from the balcony. Bathroom could be modernized, especially the shower. The minibar fridge cannot be used for your own beverages. You can rent an empty fridge for 5€ per day. Some lights did not work.

There are a lot of stairs around 120 to the beach. It is possible to go down through the other hotels but that way also has stairs which might be difficult for some people.

All the staff from the receptionist to the cleaning ladies were very kind and helpful. We were during the Easter period, and they provided a wonderful atmosphere for kids and adults as well. The wellness and swimming pool facilities are exceptional. We also liked the breakfast and dinner very much! Location is perfect, we were in a very nice environment: the hotel is on the seaside, surrounded by restaurants, bars, nice shops, the bus to Piran stops just in front of the hotel, etc. Well, the complex consists of 5-6 different hotels, and they are all connected, which makes it a bit complicated to find our way to the reception (if you arrive later in the evening), to the dinner, to the parking place, to the dinner restaurant. But after a few days, we enjoyed this labyrinth and the challenge of finding all these facilities.

The hotel is partially renovated and connected by hallways and elevators to other buildings of the same Hotel chain, including the spa area with pools. Breakfast and dinner are quite decent for a hotel restaurant, with a wide selection of dishes, salads, desserts, and fruit—I have no complaints. The staff is extremely friendly, and I should mention that everyone understands and speaks the ex YU language ;), which made communication much easier. The hotel complex also includes bars and restaurants, so if you don’t want to leave, you can easily access everything through hallways and elevators. We had a room with a nice view, but it was connected by a door to the adjacent room—clearly part of a larger apartment. Because of this, we could hear noises such as talking, jelling, loud conversations, and even a crying baby. However, earplugs helped ensure a good night’s sleep ;-). The spa area and pools, while nice, are overcrowded with both hotel guests and day visitors, making it quite difficult to find a free spot unless you go very early. Perhaps adding more loungers could help solve the problem? Bathrobes are available in the hotel, but there is an extra charge for using them—just something to keep in mind. There was no proper internet connection in the room—the signal was so weak that even Viber/WhatsApp messages couldn’t be sent. We reported this issue multiple times at reception, but it was never resolved. To be fair, when settling the bill, they took this into account and compensated us by not charging for certain services. This speaks positively of the reception staff, though not of the IT team, who failed to fix the problem. Another issue is the limited number of parking spaces, which can be a real problem. We were lucky to find a spot on the first day and decided not to move the car afterward.

Limited parking, Hotel uphill far from center

Breakfast and dinner were well organised. Rooms were nice and clean, enough towels available. The situation with parking was a disaster. Although described ‘available without possible reservation’, prking was not an option on day one or any other day when other guests checked out. We spent 54€ on parking outside of hotel (stayed 3 nights) and were not compensated for it, but werent charged for one bathrobe.

The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, everything was clean and the food was amazing. Th hotel charges for parking but makes you park away from the hotel on an awfully looking, poor excuse for a parking. Would be nice if the room came with toothpaste and shampoos, maybe a welcome snack and drink. The pools are a bit colder than expected. The hotel took in more guests than what the staff was told to expect so the breakfast offer on our second day was a bit poor.

Everything was great, the staff was extremely friendly, the food was delicious, the rooms were large, spacious and clean. What I didn't like was the parking, there is no parking for vehicles so I was forced to park in a public parking lot quite far away, and the price was 18 euros for the day. The reception reserved a parking space for me for the next day and I thank them for that, they are very kind.

Close to the beach No free parking available. At dinner there is only one hour period an you cannot prolong it.

The room was nice, with perfect view, bed was comfy, the kitchen made the best, congrats to the chef and the staff. Sauna worked with only high extra charge, bars were only working limited time, no or limited parking (mostly because of the set up of facility)

Nice comfortable beds except one thing - it was only one thin pillow on the bed. Good size of the room, wardrobe and the balcony. Good choice for breakfast, tasty food. Good location - not far from the sea, beaches, shops and restaurants. Swimming pools with the sea water. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Denis in the reception. I am looking forward to come back to this hotel. Hidden charges for the parking 12 euros a day, no free drinking water in the hotel or in the room, 6 euros for a bathrobes or 5 euros a day for the fridge if you will use them. And the pools were not in the hotel, we had to walk to them through the corridors and go on the lifts because they were in the other hotel. The hairdryer in the bathroom was old and not powerful. Booking.com tells you that all the charges and taxes are included when you are booking this hotel but in the reality you have to pay for them separately.

The location is good. The advantage is parking lot available, though depends where you will get a space seems max 2 - 3 min walking, that I consider a big advantage as it's very hard to park a car in Portoroz. Room was quite spacious with a nice view of sea. Breakfast average, would be lovely if the staff could make a less noise during the breakfast and not to take out the food before the breakfast time is over! Also the bigger friendliness of the staff would be appreciated.
