Fantastic hotel in an excellent location. We happened to be visiting during a bit of a heatwave, so the air conditioning in the room was a God send when we got back in the evening. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection and the staff were very friendly. Excellent hotel! Nothing!

The location is very good and central. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The air conditioning was strong and working, which was important during a heatwave. We didn't hear any noise from the street when the windows were closed. Not all foods were fresh, unfriendly staff, the hotel isn't well maintained. The water wasn't flushing properly in the toilets because the building is old. When we mentioned it to the receptionist he was trying to convince us that this is the standard and its not so bad. Once we insisted he call the plumber he got upset and said that we are torturing him! While eating breakfast the restaurant staff member took our plates from under our nose while not yet finished. The food was hardly enough for all the people having breakfast and the staff weren't quick to add fresh food. Some of the things weren't fresh. The breakfast restaurant had dirty walls and looks like no one maintained it for minimum of 20 years. The elevator is very slow, so if there are a lot of guests staying, everyone keep waiting for the elevator in the tiny corridor. No tea or coffee was waiting for us in the room. We had to pay the full amount of our accommodation right at check-in, which we did only after insisting seeing our rooms. How can this possibly be a 4 star hotel?

Chosen for price as it was the most reasonable option available near the tourist centre. Very good breakfast, easy to get to from central station. Quiet room, despite the road traffic outside The area is a bit of a traffic hot spot and the walk to the river was perhaps a bit further than I anticipated (but that's my lack of planning)

Adnam, the reception manager was exceptionally helpful when I arrived. I was a bit flustered, but je helped me feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were kind. Would definitely recommend, and the location was so convenient Nothing
