About Hostel Downtown
Located in the historic center of Prague, only 2625 feet from the Old Town Square, Hostel Downtown offers affordable dormitory and private accommodations with free WiFi Hotspot, a communal lounge and 3 computers. All of the rooms at Downtown are simply furnished with modern shared or private bathrooms. Every day we organize free walking tours of Prague and offer tickets for the popular pub crawl - an unforgettable evening in Prague's bars. Depending on availability, our volunteers organize various activities such as park visits, museum tours, karaoke, cooking etc. Hostel Downtown is a place where you can easily meet other travelers in the shared lounge or relax after a busy day exploring Prague. A shared kitchen is also available for all guests. Guests can exchange money in an exchange machine located in the hostel. Národní Třída Metro Station is 984 feet from the hostel. Wenceslas Square and Charles Bridge are a 10-minute walk away. The National Museum is 15 minutes’ walk from Downtown Hostel. Guests can make use of the luggage storage and laundry facilities. The property also features a 24-hour front desk.

Really enjoyed my stay here as the location is unbeatable. The kitchen and amenities at the hostel are some of the best I’ve had. Gaby is just the best at organizing fun outings for the hostel and is one of the most amazing genuine people I’ve met.

Hostel is located in the city center and is walking distance to a variety of places. But the real highlight is Gaby! Gaby is the host for all the events. She is fun and super knowledgeable about the area. Will definitely be going back to hang out some more with Gaby! If the property had air conditioner, it would be an 11/10

The 6-bed female dorm oversaw the main street with trams and stag revelers - noisy the whole night.

The bed was comfortable, the room felt safe and it was in a great location. They provide a free towel and free lock for a medium size locker which is nice. I was there during a heat wave and there were barely any fans for the guests available, I got lucky with 1 and it was doable. The blankets are too thick and even in regular summer with windows open, it would be too unbearable here without fans or some kind of cooling given. There are not enough bathrooms if it's full and the door for the single shower in one of the mixed door rooms couldn't even be locked. There was also hair on the sink not cleaned for 2 days. The toilets and showers were clean at least tho.

Not a social hostel, specially compared to how it used to be.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and the staff were very kind. The bathroom doors were very heavy and difficult to open and close, and they made a lot of noise. The toilet paper was of poor quality and was often empty without being refilled. There was also an issue with the bathroom lights, as they could not be turned off properly.

Location was great, directly on a major tram line and just across from Cafe Louvre which we had been hoping to visit. Everything was good. No complaints.

Location is excellent. Near to tourist attractions no need to ride just walk in a few minutes and you wil arrive the attraction. For me nothing.

Everyyhing was good, the location is perfect, close to downtown and easy transfer to the central station using the tram The hostel is huge, with a lot of rooms. The staff was friendly and always helpful, I was able to use the laundry room. They have staff 24h which is convenient The place has the heating turned on at night wich is pretty nice I enjoyed my stay
