Beautiful, clean and comfortable space that is very conveniently located to some of the main tourist attractions. As such, it is easy to beat the crowds as a morning person. The staff were very friendly and even helped us carry bags up to the room. Checking in is a little odd as there isn't a front desk on site (it isn't a big deal though since it's across the street). If it is too warm to keep windows closed it can be a bit noisy as it is right by Charles Bridge, there are earplugs provided.

Beautiful historic building, right next to Charles Bridge and various tourist attractions, very helpful host, great breakfast. The stairs can be challenging after a long day if you stay at the top floor.

Room 3 is excellent,very comfortable bed and if you love people watching your in luck. The location is fantastic,surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants. Nothing it was perfect.

The room size is fantastic and location is also great. You would have to be in a reasonable fiscal condition as the stairs are quite steep but for us it wasn’t a problem

The beds, the effectiveness of the double glazing, the coffee and tea, the decor, the useful little bedside cabinets, the staff, the spaciousness of the apartment, the beautiful bathroom, the robes and slippers, the breakfast and the shower. Probably a lot more as well. The location of the hotel was the most surprising thing. So central it couldn’t have been better. Thank you Howick (? Spelling) for the great welcome too. Better isn’t the word really but the toilet roll holder kept falling off. It might be an idea to provide two folding suitcase holders because my friend used the armchair and the sofa in the living room, But I just used the floor by my bed.

We really loved this hotel - most importantly for me is the comfort & quality of the bedding and the Domus Balthasar did not disappoint. The beds were really comfortable and the duvets and pillows were all duck down & feather - heaven! As we were 3 girls, we had booked a junior suite as it offered 2 double beds. The room was large and very stylish and the bathroom was large and beautiful too - all black & white in design and really good quality fixtures and fittings. There was a nice living room area too and plenty of windows which opened for fresh air. The location was also very good - just a minute's walk from the Charles Bridge, on the left bank. Note the right bank is where the Old Town is, and whilst the area is very beautiful it is the more touristy area and where a lot of the hen and stag parties are based, so yes we were very pleased with our location on the left bank, as it felt more local and neighbourhood. The hotel itself doesn't actually have a reception desk, so someone from the tourist information desk (literally opposite the hotel) comes and meets you to check you in etc. which seems to work well. Some fresh milk in the fridge would have been nice - seeing as it is a boutique hotel - rather than cartons of UHT milk which cheapens the offering but this is a minor point. We opted for breakfast being included in the room rate (as we wanted convenience) which was served in the cafe next door. The breakfast was OK but not amazing. The savoury dishes were too salty and the staff were not particularly friendly. My tip would be to opt for a room only rate and find a nice cafe for breakfast.

We had an attic room, which was spacious, cozy and very clean. Our favourite part was the tiny roof access (you have to climb through the window), from which you can see Charles Bridge, St Nicholas Church and the castle. The view is absolutely fabulous and if you’re travelling as a duo, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning sun while your travel mate is taking a shower. All communication with staff was very clear and helpful, we had no issues at all, and the luggage storage at the tourist information came in very handy. My partner and I are both quite short, so we had no issues, but I could definitely see taller people bumping their heads into all the beams and angles. The stairs have been mentioned quite a lot already, they are indeed steep and plentiful - but we were aware, so, again, no issues. What I would’ve wished for, however, was a full length mirror (there is no way to check your outfit before leaving) and, even more important: curtains or shades for all windows (there is no way to darken the room for a good nights sleep).
