Set in an impressive Baroque building below Prague Castle, Golden Star offers panoramic views over the Old Town, Lesser Town, and Prague Castle which is a 5-minute walk away. Old Town and Charles Bridge are within 15 minutes on foot. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Reconstructed in 2016, Golden Star has a 270-year-old staircase and richly decorated ceilings. All rooms feature designer furniture, individually controlled air conditioning, satellite flat-screen TV, grand modern bathrooms with a bathtub or shower, a hairdryer and mini-bar. The rooms overlook the Lesser Town, the Royal Route, Prague Castle, or the Old Town. The restaurant features an historic vaulted ceiling and serves characteristic Czech dishes and international cuisine, as well as a daily breakfast buffet. We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Golden Star! The hotel is located in a relatively quiet neighborhood within walking distance from the town center and in the most romantic and charming neighbourhood of Prague. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the room stunning and well appointed. We were lucky to have stayed in a top floor room with sweeping views of the city and the historic winding cobblestone road, Nerudova Street, also known as the 'Royal Route' leading up to Prague Castle! Perfection! Will definitely be back! N/A

The location was nice, and breakfast was good too. The AC was working but it always had a clicking sound which was never fully fixed, the Front office ladies were advised, and they called for it to be repaired, but the problem was not shown right away, so the maintenance did not manage to listen to the sound it was making. It was hard to sleep at night during the warmer days and another room was never offered I am assuming it was fully booked, but I wished they were more considerate, helpful and followed up when a guest highlights a maintenance issue as such.

Great Hotel with a beautiful view, very well located. The staff was very kind and the breakfast was good too. The view from our room was beautiful. Coffee and tea were replenished daily in the room. It wasn't our case, as we didn't travel by car, but I imagine parking in the area could prove to be a challenge.

Lovely hotel, on the quieter side of the river but still close enough to the tourist attractions including the Castle, Charles Bridge, bars and restaurants. Be prepared for walking up/ down steep paths. Not applicable

Great hotel with views over the city. Quite a walk downwards to the City itself but also nice to be out of the cars and buses etc.

As a tourist it is close to old town,3 rd floor room was very nice , city view . Big spaces. Completely bottle of wine. Hotel should arrange bottle of water as a complement... not in mini bar .. b cos of hot summer ..
