Aegean View Aqua Resort

All’arrivo abbiamo aspettato le 15:00 per il check in, come da indicazioni, peccato che poi abbiamo dovuto aspettare un’altra ora per arrivare in stanza, tutto questo perché il resort ha una parte di camere staccate rispetto alla reception, ristorante, noi siamo capitati proprio in una di queste e abbiamo dovuto aspettare l’autista che ci portasse in camera in macchina. È stato molto stressante perché la camera distava 5-7 minuti a piedi dalla reception e dal ristorante (per giunta in salita al ritorno in una strada buia di notte) e l’autista non sempre era subito disponibile. Sul sito non è indicata questa cosa, che invece secondo me è molto importante specificare, se lo avessi saputo non avrei di certo prenotato. Per quanto riguarda il cibo tutto buono nel complesso, eccetto il ristorante italiano che hanno in terrazza. La vista è il punto di forza. La posizione molto scomoda, bisogna per forza noleggiare un mezzo o chiamare un taxi se si vuole raggiungere il centro altrimenti sono 40 minuti di cammino in strade di collina. Il bagno in camera necessita di restauro, ho avuto paura che la maniglia della porta mi restasse in mano. La pulizia lascia davvero a desiderare.. Il personale comunque è abbastanza cordiale.. Più di tutti è Ghasi, sempre molto gentile. Altro punto negativo la navetta del resort, orari troppi ridotti per il centro, l’

Dislike : Almost everything. - Far from everything (the shuttles stop at 3 pm and you can't go by yourself (45 min of moutain road without sidewalk; - Everything is cheap and not tasty and food did not vary; - It is not cleaned every day for rooms as pools (and after complained with expedia they choose to not clean at all the room). We had a lot of insect like coackroach in the room and ant in the baby powder milk ! - The staff (except for Maro who is super person very good) is not helping (Evy is pretending to help but that's all). After complaining with expedia we ask them why the room was not done by 7 pm they say maybe tomorrow they come and we had to stay at reception 30 minutes and beg for us to do it ! A shame ! - A lot of rooms are far from restaurant and you may need the reception car to come; - There is almost just beer pong or drink animation (wonderful for a family friendly hotel); - There is a lot of power outage every day : i had to trhow out to trash my medecin which was in the fridge and i fall in the bathroom when it went dark ! - No safety for stairs in the rooms - You have one towel for the pool for the all holidays and there is no shower before you go in the pool (very dirty so)

Could not fault the hotel staff. However, whilst we were there we had no electricity and water for some of the days. Shower did not work properly, along with this there was no shower screen, a blocked plug so the water couldn't drain and no air con at times. Pool area and room cleaning was very poorly maintained on top of this. This is very poor and unexpected from a 4* hotel, especially with children.

The place needs total uplifting, carbage everywhere (most of them the plastic cups which fly because of the strong wind). Same carbage remain at the aquapark. There are a lot of electric cuts during the hot weather. The buffet is like a school buffet. Vegetarian options are good.

the Greek night was enjoyable, and we felt very much on vacation. The different levels of apartments would need careful consideration if mobility is a concern. A buggy cart service was available on request.The reception staff very helpful and friendly.All service staff worked to keep the experience amazing . The buffet option was amazing so much choice. A special thank you to the Maintenace Manager for giving his time to us view the entire resort. i would highly recommend Aegean View Resort. this comment is not the fault of the resort but if you arrive from Turkey by ferry you will expierence long queues going through customs.

The place had plenty of pools too swim in however the pools weren’t well maintained one day I couldn’t see clearly after being in the pool, the food was a wide variety but not very well made. And a lot of things tasted on the verge of being off. Make Receptionist was not very hospitable and very grumpy and seemingly unwilling to help. The evening entertainment was ok probably one of the better parts of the hotel. It is not 5 minutes walk from the beach it it a 5 minute drive. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly we found the people before vape. Towels were pretty gross and no covers for the beds. At best I’d say 3 star hotel not 4 star

Skøn ferie, hyggelig atmosfære, kæmpe buffet med varieret mad. Lidt slidt lejlighed men fantastiske madrasser….alt i alt et sted jeg gerne kommer igen.

the resort is perfect but the location its not accurate ! its far away from the kos town ! we spent a lot on taxi's to move to town although there is a transfer every hour but its not comfortable !

Avevo letto numerose recensioni negative, in realtà io sono appena rientrata con la mia famiglia ed abbiamo trascorso un buon soggiorno. Certo le camere sono essenziali, ma la nostra tripla era spaziosa, ben climatizzata e pulita. I letti abbastanza comodi, lenzuola pulite, non si usano sotto federe o coprimaterassi, ma erano comunque puliti. Quasi tutti i giorni la camera è stata pulita e sono stati cambiati gli asciugamani, se richiesto. Ci sono tantissime piscine, ben tenute, sembrano quasi delle piscine private davanti alle camere; a parte la piscina centrale del bar che era più affollata, nelle altre non c'era quasi mai nessuno. Il cibo vario e direi discreto, certo se si cercano i sapori della cucina italiana si rimarrà delusi, se si è disponibili all'assaggio si potrà comunque scegliere tra numerosi piatti caldi, verdure, dolci etc. La struttura è molto lontana dal centro, noi avevamo noleggiato un'auto, nel resort c'è una navetta che va prenotata e che porta alle spiagge, ma non so con che frequenza. le informazioni riportate sulla distanza dal centro non sono veritiere, a piedi è molto lontano e a mio giudizio non fattibile. La sera l'animazione, in inglese, termina presto, per cui già dalle 23 non c'è più nulla da fare. Kos città è raggiungibile in pochi minuti di auto, dal Resort si possono raggiungere facilmente numerose spiagge rinomate. La reception è sempre aperta. Personale disponibile e gentile. Nel complesso piacevole soggiorno.

The bathroom was never cleaned,I asked for toiletries which I never received.The safe was broken and never replaced.I am not 100 sure but I am think money was taken from my wallet ,a 50€ was replaced with a 10€ .You might like to pass this on to the management in case it happens to some one else.Apart from this it is a very good place to stay.

Good hotel with overall good customer service room in need of improvement, all inclusive option really good and great choice of pools.

This hotel complex is stunning and with a bit of time spent on it will be amazing. Some areas of the accommodation and pool areas are a bit tired and need updating but nothing major. The menu needs to be improved even though we always found something to eat. The entertainment programme also needs improving. As there is nothing else within walking distance they have a captive audience but the programme was poor during the day and night. The staff work hard and work long hours and majority are pleasant and happy to help. Overall a great place for a holiday, just a few improvements needed to make it amazing.

Food was just ok for the first few days but good for the last few days. We were disappointed that the additional restaurants were not open during our holiday due to a lack of staff. Our room wasn’t cleaned at the start of our stay but cleaned every day after that. Rooms were dated and needed a fair few repairs. We stayed in a family suite with a very unstable staircase. The free shuttle service was excellent but poorly managed. The booking form is left out for guests, so is open to abuse, which we experienced during our stay. A few extra time slots would be helpful. Although not a reflection on the hotel, prepare to be bitten by mosquitoes/flies during your stay, particularly of an evening near the pool bar. In conclusion we enjoyed our stay but there were many improvements that could be made.

They run a shuttle bus to Kos town during the day but it’s €10 in a taxi if you want to return at night. You will want to go to Kos town at night for a meal as the food isn’t great quality and there’s no variety so going out is a must. The rooms are basic but okay although not cleaned very well, we found a piece of mouldy fruit under one of the beds. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel as it’s too far out (we hired a car) from Kos town, the shuttle bus doesn’t get into Kos early enough for any of the trips. Also, the food is the same every day and not very good. There can be a long queue at the bar in the evening and all drinks are cheap, non branded with no alternative options available to buy. The only positive is the range of swimming pools but I won’t go back.

This hotel is not in the location shown. It os far from kos town and can only be reached by an infrequent bus or taxi (15 usd one way). Taxi is very hard to get. Rooms are basic, rundown.
