Hotel Rangi Pucon

The decor of the room and large window with view of volcano was lovely. The breakfast was good and the eggs made fresh were appreciated. Upon arrival, we were told that there was about a $70 fee for using our credit card and the staff would not work with us to get around it. We searched high and low to try to get cash out of a machine but kept running in to dead ends. We never got cash and had to use our credit card. She later said that it was a tax of some sort. My husband is Argentinian and speaks perfect spanish. Not sure why there was a miscommunication. My other complaint was the size of the room. It was tight for 2 people to move around in, particularly at the end of the bed. There was a small space to pass with our luggage being there.

Hotel Rangi is extremely comfortable, and I loved the cozy room decor, which looks exactly like the pictures. The room is spacious and has everything you need. The breakfast is excellent, with the option to get freshly made eggs. The service is outstanding—the breakfast lady is super nice, and Catalina at the front desk went above and beyond to assist with any questions I had. The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help. Pucon is a small, walkable town, and Hotel Rangi is perfectly located in the heart of it. Even as a solo female traveler, I felt safe here. I'll definitely be returning to Hotel Rangi in the future! Keep in mind that the hotel doesn't have an elevator. However, it was very easy to carry my suitcase upstairs!

This is the first time that I am rating anything here :) but I couldn't ignore the level of hospitality of this hotel. The behavior and the attitude of the staff and the management were excellent. It is a family-friendly hotel run by a family which is really there to help. The facilities were decent and always very clean. I strongly recommend it.

The facilities were very basic. The room was clean but in the wardrobe there was a bottle of mineral drink half consumed which was not nice. The location was excellent. Staff were lovely

nice location close to restaurants, lake and down town it would be fantastic if the hotel has a lift or a room in the first floor , my mother is an elderly person and it was hard for her go down and up every day, during our stay.

The location was very good, the hotel was always warm, maybe a little too much in the room. The breakfast was poorer each day, the first day our stay was nice, specially the juice, the rest of the days was cheaper quality juice and the final day they didn't even include juice. you couldn't control the room the temparature, it was too hot.
