The staff at the reception, the heated pool, and the location were amazing ? Everything looks goodat a first glance, but the room furniture is olf and very used, our room had also one dangerous broken marmor step on the childrens bedroom and the bathroom smelled from the begging really nasty like right after we have just checked in and they have finished cleaning it, not to mention that my little one found a pair of lady's underwear right inside of the closet and the floor was sticky and oily. The balcony was very small and there were only 2 chairs and a table although we were 5 people checked in... Altogether, it was a bit too expensive for what we hopped to find while booking it and what we received in reality... we had better looked to the villas from across the street like the Las Gaviotas or the Villa Plus residences...

It was very spacious and nice. A little outdated.

The food was poor. 90% of the staff were rude or grumpy. The room facilities were poor. The hotel is very dated.

We absolutely loved how easy everything was- close to airport with beautiful walks, fab heated pool, lovely breakfast and very nice staff including the lovely Maria at the check in desk who was very accommodating to our needs while traveling with a baby. We will definitely return as this hotel hits all our boxes for a happy, comfortable family holiday that feels like a holiday.

It's a lovely hote. One of the best thermal areas in hotel. Bars need to be used more at night

Great location, especially if you have sea view as we did. Big spaces: the double room with couch and terrace perfect for families, the bathroom quite big with 2 sinks, the common areas airy and nice volumes, even the pool area. Very nice and quite prompt staff. We arrived at midnight and were still offered the dinner. Food was quite nice. I like the “vintage” style, but some things really need to be updated, like room furniture: it was quite worn out and the couch was quite uncomfortable (the springer was lacking some of the wood laterals) , the chair highly uncomfortable. Food wise, the fish they offered for dinner was consistently tasteless, even the salmon. Why is there no drink included in half-board being that we still pay the prorate of the all inclusive, even more. The drinks were incredibly expensive (14€ for a wine glass!!!). Surprisingly, the airport noise was not bordering, neither very present.

Not much choice for vegetarian

I have stayed in this hotel before. The pool area is nice, and the bedrooms are clean. Food isn't too bad but repeated a lot. On 6 October evening we had to pay for our dinner which I thought was far too expensive, £52 for 2 dinners which wasn't that great. Could have had a much better dinner outside the hotel for a lot less.

Food, is pretty much the same for every meal

It was clean and close to the airport, spacious room but very very basic. There are no plug points in the room except one that too very close to the floor in the corridor. Only one plug point in the room and that too in the corridor. Extremely noisy air-conditioning. Woke me up several times as it suddenly makes a loud noise. I booked and paid for a sea view room but I got the street view instead and it was very noisy all the time

location by the beach, even if you can hear the airplanes. We had a standard room and it was in very bad condition. It needed renovation decades a go.

Beds were comfortable. Nice Receptionist on checking in. Very impersonal. Breakfast early or late very disorganised only two rolling toasters. Quality of tea bags was terrible delighted I had bought my travel kettle etc. tall gentleman chef with glasses who cooks eggs very obliging to cook well done eggs. One morning I left coming down for breakfast until 9.30am shortage of clean cereal bowls cups etc felt I annoyed staff asking for same. I was booked for dinner but only went down for that the evening I arrived plenty of choice but not for me. Hotel needs a total revamp and attention to detail with the cleaning. Clean sheets and towels perfect. Chair in bedroom had seen better days shaky and material all torn. Paint work needs to be sorted. My impression is whole place needs a big update. I only stayed 5days as I was over for an 80th birthday. I'm a frequent visitor to Lanzarote twice plus every year my first time to stay in Matorgada in the Beatriz Hotel sadly won't stay there again not my type of holiday accommodation prefere self catering. .
