Hotel Itavera

Its location. The breakfast. Bathroom: Not nice; old and small, no air extractor (there is one but it doesn’t work). The shower has a very weak water pressure and then it floods the bathroom and all the way into the main room. Closet: big and spacious, but old and dirty, it probably hasn’t been used in months. Main room: dirty under the bed. Severals strands of hair everywhere. It was smaller than it looks in the website pictures. Creaking doors, many steps (falling risk)

The rooms weren´t the cleanest as there was visible dust on all of the furniture as well as the pool as it was beyond dirty, we didn´t get in

It was amazing for the price and location.

Disappointing

It was close to bus station, city centre and the restaurants. The noise in the evening and during the night, some kids were yelling and someone was slamming the doors.

Positive: excellent location, clean sheets, very good breakfast, friendly staff Negative: It's rated 3* star but should be more realistically rated a 1* In shower room there was only a tap coming out of wall about 70 cm above ground i.e. no shower-head in the shower! Had to sit on floor to get under tap for personal hygiene and almost impossible to wash hair. Our room had 1 double and 2 single beds but only 1 bedside lamp which was plugged into a socket which was hanging off the wall. The windows overlooked the hotel corridor so curtains couldn't be opened. Anything metal was rusty and everything in the room had seen better days The water in the swimming pool was opaque so I'm not sure when it was last chlorinated. I did go in as it had been a hot sticky day but I made very sure not a drop of water passed my lips.

The location is great, very close to the main bus terminal, making it easy to get to Iguazu, which was out main goal. The breakfast was very simple, no eggs, no bananas when we got there and we were there at 7:30, so in just 30 minutes they ran out of some of the items, which wasn't great.

The location and breakfast were also satisfactory for the price. It was a problem that was hard to prevent even with cleaning, but there were bed bugs brought in by previous travelers and they bit us in several places.

The place was clean and with everything we needed. Breakfast was good enough. A little update of room facilities would increase the comfort of the establishment

The location The room was nothing like the photos in the booking. It was dirty and had an unpleasant smell. The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty, and there were insects in the unclean bathroom. The pictures showed a hairdryer and bidet, but neither were there. The lights barely worked. Thankfully, we only had to stay one night.

They cleaned the room everyday, changed the towels everyday, great breakfast No coment

Good welcome. Well prepared. Casual. Clean beds. Good bathroom. Very good location. Amazingly good value. Reasonable good breakfast. Disco music midnight to 5am Windows of room did not lock.
