Hotel Posada La Sorgente

Staff were super friendly. Bed was large and comfortable. Location on a quiet street; only a few blocks to walk to restaurants, the bus station, a bakery (important, as no breakfast available on site), etc. The level of mould growing in the walls of our room was so gross ? I asked to move and the second room was better, but I imagine in this climate it’s a pretty constant battle. That said, our accommodation on the Brazil side seemed to be winning that battle super successfully, so no excuse.

The pool area is quite lovely. The staff were very friendly. The room had space. Reasonably priced. Good location. Although the room was clean, it needs updating. The furniture was very scratched and old looking. The bathroom needs some work. The bathroom sink was cool, but looked cracked and perhaps moldly. This is probably a hard sink to keep pristine. The grout in the shower needed cleaning. All this said, this was a more reasonably priced option in a good location. The pool area is pretty and there is a nice Italian restaurant connected.

Great outside space with greenery, pool, nice restaurant and bar. Very humid rooms but probably that's the climate in the area.

Location is good and stuff was nice to check me in late Property is very very old and dirty, there is a mould all over the place especially in shower room, but more than that sheets and pillows was a disaster (see photos) I understand the climate is tough in area and might be problems with mould. But hotel is a place to sleep so I was expecting at least a proper bed. Well it was all dirty and seems like been used same sheets for last 10years, pillows are just terrible I don’t think it’s safe to use them

Mosquitos

The staff were great. The setting is gorgeous with the pool & gardens. The rooms are good sized. While there is a restaurant at the hotel, it was very delicious, but upend & expensive with restrictive hours. The location is a good 3-4 blocks from the closest restaurant making it a hike.

The room was spacious and gave me a feel of the area. I’m not sure why the top rate (not the daily exchange rate) should be charged and the amount should be paid in pesos. I’d like to pay in U.S. dollars by credit card and there should be an option on your machine. Also I don’t like to see any attitude or smirks. Yes, I’m a client. Clients have asks and requests. This should be expected in the hospitality business. Unprofessional.

Our hotel room smelled damp, the air-conditioning unit had water dripping through the night, informed staff and was provided with towels to place on the floor. Staff advised it was fixed yet it dripped again the next night.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to bus station, shops and restaurants. One night, there seemed to be a rock concert going on, Full Blast, right outside my window!

Great location, 4 blocks from downtown.The room was big. The shower was great, good pressure and hot water. The room has AC too. But they didn’t clean the room 3 days I was there. I had to use the same small towel. Check out is at 10am any time after that you have to pay money.

Too much mosquitoes in pool. Old towel need to replace new one ! So worn out

Very good location. It’s 3 blocks away from the bus station and Main Street in Puerto Iguazú. So every where I could just walk. Room is big, AC worked well. There was no towels in the room and I had to go asked for them. For 4 nights I stayed there the room was never cleaned or towels refreshed. Sink in the bathroom was broken. They request to pay in cash and can’t give you a change. No service at the front desk at all. About everything you have to ask. Property is old.
