Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive

I loved where the property was located. Near restaurants and grocery store. I was genuinely excited to experience an all-inclusive resort, especially considering how expensive this one was. I expected high-quality food and drinks, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments of my travels. I’m a huge foodie and really appreciate good food, so this stood out immediately. Every meal and snack we tried tasted like the lowest quality ingredients available. The meats tasted frozen and processed, the chicken was dry and tough, and almost everything was bland with very little flavor. We left multiple restaurants after only a few bites because the food was simply not enjoyable. The drinks weren’t any better. The liquor tasted extremely cheap. so harsh that it honestly reminded me of rubbing alcohol. The tequila and rum were very low quality, and the beer selection was limited to Tecate. If you’re hoping for Pacifico, Dos Equis, Modelo, or Michelob Ultra, don’t expect to find them here. For the amount of money this resort charges, the quality of the food and beverages is unacceptable. The best meals we had during our trip were at restaurants outside the resort, and they were better in every way. I would not stay here again, even if I were offered a free week. If great food and quality drinks are important to you, save your money and choose a different resort, or skip the all-inclusive altogether and enjoy the incredible local restaurants instead. Por el precio que pagamos, esperaba comida y bebidas de excelente calidad, pero terminó siendo una de las mayores decepciones de todos mis viajes. Soy una persona que realmente disfruta la buena comida, así que la diferencia en calidad fue muy evidente. Cada comida y cada snack que probamos sabía como si estuvieran hechos con los ingredientes más baratos posibles.

No es Hotel 4.5 Lunas como presumen. Apenas seis 3 y medio, y por eso es que Deja mucho que desear y uno esperaba mucho más en todo.

The bedroom was dirty and smelt like mold

Maybe maybe just the location but also just a maybe. We were invited on a wedding. We definitely didn’t pick the place. husband and wife invited all the friends and planned it with this hotel. Everything was literally a nightmare. I highly do not recommend staying there no matter what. I have never left a bad review on booking, Never… but this is just an awful experience both cleaning, noise, service, food. we switched rooms twice. First day we arrived. The AC wasn’t working this room smelled like sewer, extremely hot. We left a day before the end of our reservation. The staff didn’t even offer to reimburse or even cared about our experience, they just gave me a piece of paper to write some notes and the guy literally threw it to the trash. Nobody cares about your experience or your vacation. It wasn’t even cheap. That’s the thing. It was higher than average price per night and nothing was worth it.

It was a great location, but truthfully that's all the property has going for it. The wait staff at the adults only pool were great! Everything about this hotel is awful. We had to switch rooms after the first night because of broken AC (Which the front deck said was just fine..) A broken fan, moldy furniture, and a awful smell in the room. The second room, while not much better, was an improvement. The staff made no efforts to accomodate our inconviences and are honestly room and unhelpful. The alcohol is EXTREMELY cheap and watered down. I never once felt any of the drinks, despite having many at the pool. The lunch buffet is honestly pathetic.. I couldn't believe that this hotel was rated 5 stars. The food was terrible and we ate off site every single day. I highly recommend staying somewhere else if you visit Puerto Vallarta. We had read so-so reviews and had low expectations going in and I can say, I was genuinely dissapointed. It was worse than we expected and if the room had been refundable, we would have paid double to stay somewhere else.

The room wasn't that clean water wasn't working properly I call front desk and they said to let it run for 5 minutes and it would get hot but it didn't work

The staff was fantastic! The room was dirty when we arrived and appeared to have a severe mold problem. There was mold in the bathroom, above the bed, and on the headboard. It was so bad we broke out in a rash and had cold like symptoms. Food was meh, nothing special. Smoking was probably the worst. We couldn’t enjoy the beach due to the constant smoking. They were supposed to have designated smoking areas but no one cared or enforced it. Every couple minutes you were inhaling someone’s smoke. The beach venders were also very annoying. Someone comes up to you every 5-10 minutes trying to sell you something.

The location. We have stayed here before when it was the Hilton. Clearly under-invested. Les’s staff and fewer choices although we did think the food in the à la carte restaurants were actually quite good. Especially the Italian. Manuel at breakfast and during our late lunches playing scrabble was brilliant - he looked after us so well. In fact all the staff work hard. Our poolside service was very welcome. The iguanas continue to create unique drama (which was fun) but I didnt appreciate the raccoons popping up during supper - as they begged for food. The rooms are good. The location is great and the poolside ambience remained peaceful and enjoyable which is why we returned. A lick of paint and further investment wouldn’t not go amiss.

Nothing The fact that my check-in was not on time, I had to wait two hours to be able to even get a response. And then I got charged twice. That’s just for the starts.For example, staff was not friendly enough. There is not enough people to cover everybody needs. Bathrooms were out of toilet paper. I know have to contact Super.com to get figure as why they charge me twice. I don’t wanna do it right now because then I will spend the rest of my vacation doing that. But definitely I wouldn’t recommend the headache here, so please look somewhere else.

The swim up pool suite was very nice, breakfast at the hacienda buffet was very good variety.

The personal pool was not warm and we paid for a swim out pool without a lot of use.

The location was excellent. We went and hung out in the beach lounge chairs every morning. After the beach, we went to the Hacienda pool, where the staff was superb. We found the staff throughout the resort were superb! The Hacienda is an older resort, showing its age. The cushions on most of the chairs in the restaurants were stained. The food was sub-par and the choices on the menus were limited.
