City Express Plus by Marriott Puerto Vallarta

Decent location, not too far from the airport. Property is a bit dated, could use a face lift, but still very nice.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable but overall all stay was great.

We had planned to stay one night in between a resort and a flight out! We ended up being here for almost a week. The staff was amazing trying to accommodate us in a horrible situation. The location is great for a commuter night, but there isn’t a lot to do for a long period of time. But for one or two nights it is perfect!

Check in took longer than expected as my name was incorrectly entered when I booked the room back in November, so it took a long time to get me checked in.

The hotel is close to a lot where they’re working in a construction so it’s a little dirty when you get outside.

The breakfast was included. It was limited.

Conveniently located for me to be between Central and Marina since I had to be at both places I would have liked to been able to take a plate of breakfast to my room. Because of timing my medication‘s I don’t eat until 11 or after. They would not let me do that.

The pool was great to enjoy during the day and evening with comfortable lounge chairs. It was very convenient to have breakfast included in the stay and to eat something before early morning tours. The location worked well as its close by the marina for any boat tours and also close by the mall and grocery store. It was also easy to get an Uber from the hotel to get into downtown for dinner. The room was comfortable, some rooms with a view of the marina. The room could have been a bit cleaner, there were hairs on the bedsheets and a bandaid stuck on the chair.

The staff was very nice but there was a language gap that at times made things difficult, but we worked through it.

Rooms could be cleaner, especially the floors. Breakfast was included, but only the cold bufet, if you wish to eat something warm for breakfast e.g. eggs you need to pay extra. The beach is 20-30 minutes away walking (depending how fast you walk) When i arrived , 1h after the designated check in time, the room was not ready and i gad to wait All of these can be improved with small changes.

Close to the airport, basic breakfast included, friendly staff, nice pool area Very small room - tight squeeze if you need to fit a crib in.

Every detail and question answered immediately. Nada. Actually TV could use an upgrade
