They have some construction going on but, it didn’t effect our stay. The bellmen were great! The front desk staff could use some information about the hotel. I was misled with how to reserve a table at the Asian restaurant. My room (#1302) smelled like urine at the closet door. Maybe a guest had a pet there and it marked the door. You could see the air fresheners in the vent so, they knew it was there. Check-in was at 3, I stated I’d be there at 4, I arrived at 4:30, my room was not ready. We went to dinner then, got our room. It didn’t have a hand towel, bath mat, or wash cloths. Only 4 towels. Better than nothing. The walls need more art. The room looked very bare, nothing exciting about it. A full length mirror would be nice. There was plenty of empty space. No mirror at the vanity and no lighting. The shower works well but, the water flows under the door and into the bathroom. Definitely a safety hazard. There is a small fridge but, no microwave. The television has local channels, not compatible with streaming devices or services. I tried multiple times calling room service from my room but, the button on the phone won’t connect me. I called the front deck to connect me and they send me around to another place, that place connected me to room service but, no one picked up. When I finally got someone after trying two more times, they asked how I was going to pay for room service. I was shocked because I paid for all-inclusive and the front desk told me at check-in that room service was a part of my package. Apparently not. After all of that, I passed on the room service. I decided to reserve a spot at the Asian dinner. No one was able to do that over the phone so I walked to the front desk to ask how. I was told to go to the buffet and reserve with the guy in the red tie. I walked all the way there just for him to tell me no, I had to check with the Italian restaurant, which is beside the Asian one. Okay, so I walked all the way back to the main building. The miscommunication of the staff, my closet smelling like urine, the water flowing out of the shower, and no clarity on the Asian restaurant reservation.

Cleaning staff was very friendly when they were available, they were stretched thin. Beach was clean. Service staff at the breakfast buffet was very friendly and remembered us. Also appreciated how all staff would great you when passing by. Bellman staff were very sweet and courteous. Room had mold in the shower, that was clearly attempted to be painted over. Often had to call for more towels as the room wan't cleaned by 4pm in the afternoon. The Italian restaurant was a joke, food was horrible and no atmosphere. Oh and raccoon live in the restaurant, walk through the restaurants, and are up in the ceilings. Staff just watches them. The breakfast buffet had great staff but not much on choice for my American daughter was looking for basic egg and meat, very authentic Mexican, which I enjoyed. Pools were very small and did not support the amount of rooms the complex had. Same went for the beach chairs available. Pina colada at the beach bar tasted like cleaning products, plus the staff wanted cash and not a card but, everything says card only. Construction everywhere, so do not go expecting peaceful. Huge building directly next to this resort is being built, plus resort itself had construction projects with detours our entire stay.

Location Kids club was closed, due to renovations, the hotel claims to be handicap accessible, but the ramps are super inclined, there one half ramp and half stair coming out from the main restaurant? Make that make sense. The wheelchairs tha they have available are broken, the walkway in the restaurant it’s paved with stone making it near impossible for regular wheelchairs. The only one golf car they have available it’s broken!!! My mother had to stay in another hotel and they did not reimburse us, neither they tried to accommodate us. Didier, the manager refused to reimburse us for that extra person that was not able to stay. Not handicap accesible the bracelet gave my son an allergy and they do not have access to a nurse.

Clean Not very handicapped friendly!

The beds were very uncomfortable. The sliding door would not lock. Had to prop chairs so no one could open while we were out. Room service would show up around 5pm to clean the room while we are getting ready to go out. The front counter staff was rude. This was our second time here. the 1st time amazing. I don't know if I'll give them another chance.

Some sections were under construction and it was noisy at several times. The bathroom of the bedroom was not done on time either. The buffet Monday night was not good nor complete.
-
It was very crowded, construction next door.

Front desk and bell staff were good. We needed maintenance (our safe was broken - had to be replaced). They attended to the matter quickly. The food was not impressive. We paid for package that included breakfast buffet. Every day was same, including what looked like leftovers from the night before. The evening buffet offerings (2 different venues) had the same food - not inspiring at all....rather disappointing. We went off location for dinners because of that.
-
Attractive lobby and grounds Good value for room only Friendly staff Food was marginal Beautiful walking beach but not great for swimming Unfortunately there is construction on either side making for constant noise
-
We asked to change our room because it looked a little dirty the walls weren’t painted and it didn’t look good, we got another room that was in better shape but with just a doble bed instead of a king size, we enjoyed our stay anyway and the staff is very helpful!
-
The rooms had a great view The rooms were outdated. The furniture was extremely old and much of it was in bad shape, broken or rusting. The mirror was peeling. The shower head and bathroom sink drain were broken. The wifi would also constantly disconnect. The pool had a great view.
