The tv only had Spanish shows and most of the staffs woman’s in the kitchen kept putting the drinks up once I walk in day after day its like didn’t wanted me too enjoy my self had ask for drinks once sat down when the display had em for guest! but overall I had a nice time and experience

the resort is VERRRRYYYY outdated a lot of cracked / missing stuff. You should really do a low budget update, does not have to extravagant but it does need a MUCH needed update.

Would love to see authentic Dominican food available

​Worse Than Disappointing – Cut Short Our Vacation Feeling ​Rating: ⭐ / ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​As someone who stays at a resort every single summer, I know what a good experience looks like—and this was by far the worst stay I have ever had. It was so bad that, for the first time ever, I actually wanted to pack up and go home early. ​The Rooms & Maintenance ​First Room Issues: Unbearably loud ceiling fan that forced us to request a room change. On top of that, metal fixtures throughout the room were rusted, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the AC unit blew hot air. ​Second Room Issues: In the second room, the phone didn't work at all, completely cutting off communication with front desk staff. Basic requests—like asking for drinking water—were ignored.

We didn't love the food, and there were no wash/face cloths in our rooms. We had hand towels and bath towels, but nothing small enough for us to wash our faces and bodies. Also, there were no blankets in the rooms. Our bed was made with just sheets.

the property was very clean , and great to move around in my room was a little used like outdated , the tv didn’t work , i didn’t like that it was no 1 bathroom it all was separate in the room

The DISCO PACHA and RIU PARTY was EXTREMELY dirty and it smells like vomit. Also the towels smelled dirty. The refrigerator and safe in the room didn’t work. The whole RIU Bambu was a little outdated. We need transportation between the amenities.

Honestly, this was one of the worst resorts I've ever been to. Here are our complaints to name a few: 1. the beds were rock hard, 2. the outlets in our room did not work properly, 3. there were hardly any toiletries, 4. for a family friendly resort they allowed smoking in all areas which was very unpleasant (this includes the area with the kids entertainment), 5. the entertainment was also very unorganized and subpar, 6. the main pools were heated which made it feel like we were being boiled, 7. the sports area had no staff or equipment for us to use, 8. the game room requires you to pay for tokens to use the pool table/foosball table/etc. which is usually free at other resorts, 9. the waterpark for children was under construction for 3 days out of our stay, 10. most of the drink dispensers did not work at all, 11. there was very little variety for the food as well. Overall, would never come back to this resort. All we could manage to do was eat and be in the pool.

No Air conditioning in rooms. Staffs promising and not providing service. There were roaches in the rooms, we had 3 rooms reserved.

The welcoming upon my arrival walking around exploring the resort. My room wreaked of mildew and sewage from the shower, the pillows and bed had bad odors, the minibar in the room is dated looks like a medicine cabinet and the alcohol was already used.

Good water park , pool was clean and big ,good food, room was clean every day, good shows, facilities were well groomed and maintained , good drinks and good price for all you get Personal not all of them are friendly the sports bar lady always has a bad attitude like she hates her job and responds back with an attitude not only to me I saw her with other guests too very few were ok. The worst part about the hotel is the rooms they are outdated and there’s always something not working on each room? my first room ac did not worked , second room was changed and when I got to the room other guest were in my room thank god my stuff were not there yet last room the lock inside was not working. Pretty bad filtration on some rooms. The beach also was not cleaned like in their other Riu hotels nearby

Nothing was good Changed rooms 3 times because of the filth, didn’t get wash rags. And i got stolen from. Multiple items gone the night before i left. Nothing was done about it, just played in my face and kept trying to speak Spanish. Hated the entire trip and ruined my birthday. Instead of getting dinner and enjoying my last, i spent my birthday worrying, traumatized and pissed off. People were incredibly rude and i kept being asked for money. Hated the entire trip and couldn’t wait to get home. They wouldn’t even let my driver in and forced me to pay for one of theirs. Broken safe!! Stole out of my purse that was in my room. Had us sitting waiting for a room after the filthy room and kept walking us up and down stairs. So many issues i can’t even say them all in here

Breakfast was fine. But something in the food got 3 of the 5 family members sick for days, constant diarrhea, stomachache, vomit, days were miserable Better processes saving the food, sometimes milk for coffee was bad already ( spoil)

Didn’t get to experience the property just the pool People cared more of making the payment than being comfortable we had a issue with payment and instead of dealing with it in the morning they decided that at 10 o clock after drinking was a good idea not cool long story short our bank saw it as fraud and we just needed a phone call to clear everything but the call center was closed hence the reason we recommended to resolve the issue in the morning but they wanted a payment so I left after they locked my room and made everything difficult kinda of hard when you have shots in your system and can’t think straight it’s cool we will not be back but have a little bit more sympathy would be nice because money was not the issue I could of payed for 10 nights back to back like championships but after the way I was treated I left to the beach at 11 at night unacceptable
