The facility.\n Is the perfect location and you are right at the harbor the kitchen is shared, but it's very updated and you can put pretty much everything you want in this kitchen. It is very clean. The rooms are also unisex, but they're also very clean and very helpful and very understanding. I was really lucky to be able to have a room on my own. And it was well appreciated , and I like to thank the staff for being on top of things

It is in the centre of QT The fact that I had to share the room with others, but that’s the concept of the hostel and the reason why the price is really good, so can’t complain

Get kicked out of the kitchen at 10. And having the person start cleaning the kitchen at 9:30

It’s in the CBD, so it’s convenient. The female staff member was kind. One night, a very drunk guest was moved from another room into our room. He was so drunk that he needed help walking. The staff said he could not climb to his top bunk bed in the other room and that he would “just sleep,” but after the staff left, he started shouting in the bathroom, throwing towels, and vaping inside the room. Eventually, the staff called the police and he was moved to another accommodation. I honestly don’t understand why he was moved into our room in the first place. It seemed very stressful for the female staff as she was working alone, handling check-ins, small tasks, and repeatedly calling her manager for help.

LOCATION. Kitchen was nice but small with a nice view of the lake. Would be cramped during busy summer months. Glad to have free luggage storage. 2 luggage racks in bedroom, but then there was little room to walk. The room was VERY small and the double bed was pushed against the wall - hard to get in and out for the 2nd person. Soso linens and bedding. No bedside table (no room) and lights were up above the bed headboard.

The scenery is nice, but I can't say the same to the bed bugs. Bed bugs

Very small room. It is good for one person. Not for two people.

...they're so popular, they're booked solid... Which isn't a negative... It's a good thing just hard to get additional nights ?

    Perfect location, nice and clean

Clean, modern, comfortable. Unbeatable location on the waterfront. Super helpful staff. Very well equipped kitchen, and eating at an open window looking over the lake was my own four star restaurant. While guests averaged much younger than myself, the atmosphere was welcoming and never too noisy at night. Great place to start my month in New Zealand and already booked a return. Obnoxious couple in our bunk room got up at 5 AM and loudly conversed while packing. Courtesy demands you pack the night before if you’re leaving early. But this is hardly the fault of the hostel,

The staff were sometimes rude and uninviting, and the rooms were very warm.

I had a private room with 4 bunk beds and a private bathroom. The room was quite clean and the bathroom was great. The location was also prime! The beds were too short for me and the pillow was incredibly hard. I didn't have a good sleep.

The location was great for us. friendly and helpful staff The drain in our room was clogged and the beds in the bunk room were just ok
