Location, style of building, shared fireplace couches and seating area on main walkout by breakfast area was lovely. Our beds were comfortable and the bathroom was just remodelled to very modern and so clean. Quite pricey but it is Queenstown so expected. But very pricey at over $400/night.

Nothing

Breakfast wasn't included in our booking. Location was just right - close to where we planned to go. Our used clothing/under garments (laundry) etc we placed in a plastic bag to bring back home to wash. Somehow staff room cleaners mistaken it for rubbish & through our plastic bag into rubbish bins outside. After finding our laundry bag, hotel management apologized & offered to wash our laundry at the hotel.

Very pleasant and spacious rooms with excellent natural ventilation. very comfortable beds. Limited Breakfast choices.

Need a power cord or extra outlets on BOTH sides of the bed. Everone has multiple devices nowadays!

Charming boutique hotel! Very pleasant and friendly hosts. The location is great, you can see the lake from the balcony (and NYE fireworks). A little pricey, but we were there for the New Year’s so it's understandable.

Cute hotel in a good location. Really nice, homely vibe with great views. Staff were awesome. Will definitely be staying again and reccomending for those visitng Qtown. Ameneties could've been a little bit better, but nothing too bad.

The staff gave prompt directions when we checked in late. The room was spacious and amenities were what we were expecting and beyond. Wish there were microwaves

Excellent location - easy walk into town. Would have loved to have enjoyed breakfast but a bit too pricey!

Convenient, comfortable

Super cute, comfortable, and close to everything Queenstown; there was a cute side path out the back for a closer walk to town. We had a great view of the mountain range from our room, The Remarkables.

The hotel itself is charming--almost like staying in someone's very nice home. The location is absolutely unbeatable; it's a 5-minute walk from the center of Queenstown and the lake front, but just far enough outside (and up the hill) that it's surprisingly and pleasantly quiet. The view of the Remarkables from the room was amazing. We even got one of the very limited parking spaces, which was super convenient. This hotel is absolutely NOT sound-proof. We were only there two nights, but some other guest let their child run up and down the hall between 4:00 and 5:00 AM, both nights, and we heard every single footstep. Around 7:00 both mornings, there were alarmingly loud banging noises; whether that was from the same neighbors, from the cleaning staff, or from the breakfast room (which was downstairs, so maybe not...?), we don't know. I know that the hotel is not at fault for the fact that most people genuinely don't think about others, and I understand that older buildings can't always be sound-proofed, but I think that it would REALLY benefit guests--especially those looking for a quiet, peaceful stay--to have the staff gently remind guests on arrival of the fact that noise travels, and to maybe even suggest that guests try to respect their neighbors. At this price point, the utter inability to get a decent night's sleep was truly disappointing.

Superb

Just a 5 minute stroll to the lake and the heart of Queenstown. The gondola is also just two minute walk up the hill. Although it was the Easter holidays, felt like the room was way overpriced even after free upgrade due to genius level perk. The room looks and feels outdated. Bed is very soft and lighting isn’t the best, room wasn’t cleaned every day due to hotel policy. Room didn’t include breakfast and was pricey for what it offered so we passed. Shower is standing in a narrow bath. There’s little space in the wardrobe to store your clothes. Service isn’t always available due to staffing hours.
