Прекрасный отель в старинном здании, просторные номера, очень удобная кровать. В номерах есть кондиционер. Отель находится вблизи старого города. Нет своей парковки для автомобиля, однако прямо рядом с отелем уличная парковка, на которой всегда есть места.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, albeit further from downtown than some may want. The hill is a bit of a walk, for sure, so if you are happy to walk for a beautiful view, great. The hotel has character; it is small and intimate, so that's nice. I do not recommend you utilize the option to have a driver pick you up. I had one person call me at the airport to ask if I was out yet and to call them when I am. I said that, unfortunately, I do not have a Czech phone and am unable to make calls and I had hoped they will come get me. The driver then simply left. Another one came, I asked if they could come get me but that it may take a while as I am unsure how long passport control may take. He did show up and 15 mins later started complaining about cost of parking so I paid him for 30 minutes of parking, he then continued to complain. I asked him to leave he would not unless I paid the full cost of transfer. Once he got us to the hotel, I was charged 200 dollars as opposed to the 40 that was quoted. I brought this up to the hotel but have not heard anything back. If the hotel offers a service, there should be some shared responsibility there. Do NOT reserve through the hotel. Breakfast - I compared my experience to my first time there. It was all right - not a lot of choice especially for those with food allergies. I had reached out early to ask whether there are options for specific diets and was told - we have what we have. Totally get it just unfortunately not viable for some especially given the hotel's location away from decent places to say buy groceries or get a meal. Finally, the AC kept making noise all night long not sure why. But minor issue compared to the driver drama.

This place is truly outstanding!! Beautiful old building that has been redone super nicely. Great service, and I really loved my room!! It had a huge bathroom!! The hotel is in a convenient location!! I was gonna say the view from the breakfast room was the best part, but actually the breakfast itself was even better!! Such delicious fresh foods!! Oh, and that milk!! However, I likewise cannot say the breakfast was the best part, because that distinction has to go to the service at the breakfast!! I have never stayed at a place like this!! Absolutely nothing!!

Great location near historical sites, shops, and restaurants. Pleasant staff and nice facility. Breakfast was tasty with a decent amount of options. AC worked well. Paid at the hotel for parking at the monastery next door. While the views from the terrace and restaurant are fantastic, my top-floor room just had one very small window that mostly looked at the adjacent roof. Tub with a half-length door was oriented so the slanted part for your back when lying down is the only area behind the door for you to use in "shower mode"... But you can't stand on the slant.

Our room was small, but so quiet and charming. We felt like we were in Prague, which is what we wanted. Why travel and stay in a cookie-cutter hotel? There are only 27 rooms in this 4 story hotel, so it seems very cozy. Having a relaxing and delicious breakfast in the dining area while enjoying the view of the city was the perfect way to start each day. While it was a bit of a walk to get to some of the sites that we wanted to see, it was worth it to enjoy the serenity and history of the Strahov Monastery area. Non-walkers can easily use the tram. The only suggestion that I could make for improvement is that there were some areas in the carpet that could be cleaned better or replaced.

Our favorite hotel during our Europe trip! The views were incredible from our room. The room was comfortable, clean, and rustic with the old wooden beams. We enjoyed the little desserts in the tea room each afternoon and found the staff to be very helpful. Nearby, we had access to a great Asian restaurant, brewery, falafel, and coffee shops. It is far from the old town/touristy area but it was very easy to take the tram when we didn’t feel like walking. We found this to actually be beneficial since it was very quiet at night.

Chose the property entirely for its prime location—offering easy access out of town toward the airport and close proximity to the Castle. Never could have imagined that this seemingly random decision would so dramatically transform my view of the city. The building itself is exceptionally well-maintained, nestled in the heart of “upper” Prague, and boasts breathtaking views over the city below. It is truly worth staying a few days here just to fully enjoy the charm and beauty of Upper Prague without the hassle of commuting between the lower and upper parts. Window view was breathtaking too. Travel between Lower and Upper Prague, even by car, can be challenging. Limited nearby services make everyday errands a bit tricky as the neighborhood offers limited daily services, making it difficult to find a grocery store, gas station, or even pharmacy.

I was quite pleased overall but if I were too be super critical I'd say the shower could be better.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful through email and in person during our stay. The water temperature fluctuated quite a bit during showers and there was no fan in the bathroom. Parking was a challenge but that seems to be the norm in the Czech Republic.

The location was perfect. The room was spacious with a wonderful view of Prague. The breakfast, at an extra fee, was excellent. There is a train station within walking distance. I would highly recommend The Questenburg for your next trip to Prague.

Beautiful accommodations! Didn’t realize the hotel used to be a church that was part of the nearby monastery. Close to public transportation and all attractions. The breakfast was glorious.

Spacious room with a great view of the monastery Varying floor levels created trip hazards
