Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly and professional. Hotel and room were very clean. A very nice hotel Parking. No onsite parking unless you use the valet service. Was told I could park down the street at a public lot but would have to pay for parking. After checking out I saw a $25 charge for the valet parking. No mention during booking or during my stay about additional parking fees.

If you are there because yourself or someone else is visiting Mayo this is the place to be. They have shuttles that run all the time back and forth and do everything they can to support you. Will be back to Mayo and will stay here every time.

Location The building is centrally located for anyone needing to go to Mayo Clinic. The lobby looked nice enough but the photos booking shows are not representative of the current condition of the hotel. Our first room which we walked into and then right out of had significant stains on the carpeting. It was not just a small stain it was a 12 inch shape right next to the bed. The rest of the room was dilapidated and run down with missing furniture evident in our pictures. The furniture like the attached end table is clearly broken and falling off the wall. The bed was lumpy and sheets all wrinkled when we got to the second room. That room also had stained carpeting and broken windows. There was pounding music until midnight and the latch of the window was missing and could not seal the window shut. The noice was excessive and also noted by the front door desk who went outside and also heard it. They called the police which after an hour did nothing. I then was directed to call and I did two times with the same response. They will take a look.

The checkin was smooth and our room was okay. The hotel is in a great location for the Mayo Clinic, but is showing some wear. We understood the room would be refreshed (make bed, replace towels, empty trash, and replenish amenities) every other day. Since we checked in Tuesday, we expected those services on Thursday. However after returning to the hotel we were chagrined to see nothing had been done to our room. After being told by the front desk that someone would be “sent up” we left for dinner. Upon our later return, we were frustrated by the fact a stack of clean towels was placed in the bath, but nothing else was done to the room.

We had booked a three-night stay. On the second night, I turned on the shower and the water came out brown. I let the hot water run for about 10 minutes, but it never cleared up. The sink water was brown as well. I tried calling the front desk several times, but the line was busy. I finally called from my cell phone and got through. They explained there was a broken pipe nearby and said the water was "probably" safe, but they wouldn't recommend drinking it. Unfortunately, I was in town for an appointment at Mayo Clinic while being treated for a serious infection. I couldn't risk showering or using brown water, so we decided to check out a day early. I explained the situation to the front desk, and although the broken pipe wasn't the hotel's fault, they completely understood and refunded our final night's stay. While the water issue was a major inconvenience, I really appreciated how the staff handled the situation. Their customer service was excellent, and they made a difficult situation much easier.

The location to Mayo Clinic was amazing. Very convenient. The carpets in the rooms are very old and stained

Room was clean, beds were really comfortable, breakfast was very nice. Shuttle back and forth to airport was accessible. For a park n fly, a little concerning that your vehicle was just parked at your own risk with an adjoining lot with a Motel 6.

We had a great stay and were very thankful for the free shuttle services to Mayo Clinic. The valet service was great with all the construction going on. We will definitely stay again.

I would have liked to have gotten my own car the next morning, but they said valet HAD to get it. Especially when it was just right outside the door in parking lot. Does not make sense to me.

Our check in host was not very personable this time. Stayed many times but needs updated.
