Hard to get on and out of. Unhelpful staff. Mediocre breakfasts.

Great location for us to do a tour of Rochester university and the area around it.

Our main reason for staying was proximity to Strong Mem Hospital and it was within walking distance.

Do not stay here. We were put in a room with a non working thermostat. This is in the middle of summer. When we first got into the room the thermostat power button was in the off position. The room felt okay at that point. But we soon went out and when we got back it was warm. So we tried to adjust the temperature by turning it on and pressing the down arrow. Got Nothing. After a few minutes of this we called the front desk and were told it's sensor regulated so if we stood still it would cool down. I then replied that it had just gone up to 77! She then said she would get maintenance. Well they Never showed up. So we had to sleep in a room at 75 degrees! Early the next morning there's a guy with towels in the hallway so I just ask him to show me how to adjust the thermostat. He does the same thing I did to no avail. He then mumbled something about maintenance. So I asked if he was going to call them he just kept walking out the door. A few hours later he comes asked if maintenance came I told him no. I told him I'd be filing a complaint. He said tell front desk. Upon check out front desk never asked about our stay. And I knew it would do no good to mention it to them. They had already showed how useless and uncaring they are.

The pool is truly disguising. I saw people look at it once and walk away. Very very loud hotel at all hours of the day, I was even advised by the front desk staff to not expect to sleep past 10AM ever at this hotel, even weekends, due to the constant noise, mostly from their own staff
