Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Rochester - Marketplace by IHG

The location was so-so. It was on a busy corner where you could only exit one way. There was construction going on right next to the location. The room felt cramped compared to other Holiday Inn locations I have stayed at. The toilet was broken and running non-stop for the two night stay. The room was over a sitting area where people liked to smoke marijuana so the room stank. The bathroom needs updated. There were only three sets of towels in the room even though our reservation was for four, so we had to go to the front desk to request more.

The entire staff from the front end lobby to the breakfast manager was friendly and accommodating. Super clean and well maintained inside and outside also.

Lindsay and Christy are amazing!!! When I first got there I was greeted by Lindsay. She helped me book my room after a failed booking at another location. She was super nice and helpful! As for Christy, she is such a personal person, super kind and friendly! These two ladies are the reason I would go back and stay there.

The room was very clean and the room was comfortable. All of the staff were extremely kind. I do not eat breakfast at hotels unless I know I am not going to be able to eat for awhile. This breakfast was the best breakfast I have EVER EATEN at a hotel. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. They eggs were real and not from a carton. The manager was super engaging and friendly with everyone that came through the door.

The hotel itself is not updated.

Well it was close to what we had to do and easy to get to Well the microwave didn't work light stade on all the time told desk about it

Room carpet dirty and bad smell place needs to be updated also heat blew warm not hot even at 80 as someone who is anemic not good.

The property could use some maintenance, but the staff was incredibly friendly (seriously, they knew my name when I was walking down the hall) and the place was very clean. Breakfast was great as well. Highly recommend.
