Baymont by Wyndham Rock Hill

Clean and safe. Quiet and a good location.

We found 3 dead bugs on the floor when we arrived. The sheets on my bed had been cleaned but had stain marks clearly visible. I needed to get the mgr to get the tv to work. When I attempted to call the office the phone was dead. So we picked up our luggage and left. I told the mgr what had happened and told him we weren’t going to stay and left. We were charged for the room.

It was cheap and right off of the freeway. It was not properly cleaned. The obvious places that you look at upon check in looked fine, but once you sat down and looked closer, there was a lot wrong. There were stains on the comforters and the curtains. There was something brown staining the fitted sheet. There was something that suspiciously looked like fecal matter on the back of the bathroom door. The wall opposite the toilet had a yellow stain running down it.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great place to recharge before continuing my trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to the expressway There was an overwhelming smell of mildew when you open the door.I went to the bathroom there it was in the renovated bathroom above the tiles..There was moisture bubbles in the ceiling along with cracks in the wall along with rust around the vents.The sheets and towels was dingy and the floor was filthy.The door has a gap at the bottom so whatever bugs want to enter they have access. There was a roach walking around by the desk.I travel a lot on business and it's been a long time since I been to a motel I couldn't wait to leave.I checked out at 6 am .I always travel with my own linens and towels and bleach and lysol. I was very uncomfortable!!!

Location wasn't too bad. I enjoyed how it was close to a McDonald's in case I wanted a quick bite to eat, and it was at the very front of a row of about 5 other hotels so it was easy to find. It was also right next to the work I had to do which was nice. If I had to get nit picky, I would talk about the ems station that is right next to it. On one hand, it's nice being close if you're ever in any medical danger. But it was not uncommon for you to hear their sirens at any time of the day since they're open 24/7. Not a big issue, but just something to consider in case you have trouble sleeping.

I beleive I had a handicap uni but it was on the second floor withno elevator, just seemed a little silly to me. It would have been nice to have some meat at the breakfast bar but I can understand the situation.

It was near good restaurants It was a bit dated and run down looking

If you are just looking for affordable this was it, It was an old building that was revamped but a lot is still old and it shows. Things that were not very clean, old appliances and so forth. It was what it was for a short stay.

Breakfast was good, a lot of variety, but no meat Ni pool

Was older and was not expecting the outdoor entrances- poor seal around door.

Everything was clean, well maintained

When I got the room I ended up at end of building by freeway but I didn't hear the traffic just had the lights flashing in room til I closed curtain. The trash cans are not big enough to hold 2.5 days of trash . When I got the room it charged me more then the app said . When I finished doing all that I got a message saying I could of got a $20.00 difference. So why was it not done in first place..

It is conveniently located near a major highway, a gas station and many dining options. There was plenty of parking available. The entire exterior and interior of the Baymont was very clean, including my room. Rohiht at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I left the hotel very full from breakfast, which had a nice variety of things to eat as you start your day. I definitely would recommend it, matter of fact I already have!
