Hotel Alessandrino

Location and price. I've got great recommendations from Giovanni about places to eat Roma style food! San Pietro train station is very close to the hotel which made our live easy in terms of distance and travel budget. There is nearby Bar/Caffetteria served by its own owners that serves fantastic breakfast. Breakfast was no longer available, and no more bottles of water were given to guests after the first night. The TV set was too small although functional

Close to what we needed, terrace, and bathroom was nice AC didn’t really get the room cooled down, just area by the window. Room was pretty small and TV was tiny. Didn’t really get any info about amenities (breakfast, taxi accommodations, dinner recommendations, wifi info, etc.)

The room is clean but no facility, just basic accommodation You have to use too many stairs to reach the hotel from the bus stop

A ton of noise throughout the night, sounded like a machine close to the room. Also the bed was extremely uncomfortable

The location was very convenient for us. It was right on the main trees just steps from a grocery store and the one cafe that is always open on that street. The facilities were very nice. The air conditioning was great and the place was clean. We had a nice patio. Alessandro was very helpful during our stay. Highly recommend.

Nice and quiet. Situated off the main tourist tracks but still close to the center. Located on top of a steep hill. It takes a little to walk up. Missing a bar and some food.

It was on top of a steep hill and very hard to get to. Also, the bathroom had a foul smell the entire time wee were there and the AC was set to the heater without any controls in the room, thanj God for cold weather and windows that could be opened. Additionally, the pictures in the listing were very misleading...

There were ants in the bed. Shower was really small. They did great cleaning up the room. When I arrived, I was told we couldn’t fit in a room, so the guy said I needed to cancel and make a new reservation and when I did, he got annoyed because the hotel was going to get a fee, but I also got a $90 fee that they didn’t want to waive. Not what I wanted to deal with after a 12 hour flight.

The maid service was very good the room itself was very clean but very dated. No breakfast option available, No bar service No rooftop bar available as advertised Only a vending machine which we had to pay for. Location not great didn't feel safe walking back at night so had to get taxis all the time. The safe was old fashioned key type and the keys had to be handed in everytime we left the hotel leaving our valuables vulnerable. The furnishings were adequate but old and had seen better days. There was signs of mould on the ceiling and on the wall by the bed. The bathroom facilities were OK but the shower head was in bad condition and needed replacing and the basin didn't hold water.

Hotel Alessandrino saves our vacation by taking us in with no notice after we decided to leave an Airbnb that did not meet our expectations. The hotel was so clean and comfortable. We had a rooftop balcony all to ourselves. The staff were so kind and professional. There are many good restaurants in walking distance. It is in a very peaceful residential neighborhood. Highly recommend!
