Hotel Gravina San Pietro

A bit rough around the edges at some places - a tap with very low pressure, an electrical rolling shutter that did not work (but curtains blocked the light anyway, so no big deal), almost finished shower gel. Minor things, no problems in general.

No complaints other than the rooftop garden being under construction, but we had a nice balcony in our room for some beautiful views.

Great breakfast with plenty of options. Small room, but very clean and comfortable. Fantastic location and a good value. The staff were very helpful in arranging transport to and from the airport as well.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t working, the shower was extremely small, and if you’re taller than 185 cm, you’ll have a problem.

Entire property is under construction. Workers walking outside the windows where you should be able to sit on the balcony. No balcony’s available. Property is not disclosing this information

Close to Vatican. Staff very helpful. We Lost our passports and the staff were very empathetic and helpful when helping us gain replacements. They were always available and helpful and truly cared about us during our stay There is scaffolding for painting, but we were still Able to enjoy the deck and views.

We were visiting the Vatican. Great location (15 minute walk to the Piazza). Great value and the customer service was incredible. 24/7 desk attendant is helpful. And after checking out, they held our bags so we could explore throughout the day until our evening train. Very good stay, would stay again.

It’s strategically located near tourist spots. They have Big rooms! The room was too hot. We woke up sweating like literally dripping sweats! If you have a baby/toddler, it’s not advisable because the room tends to be too hot. In our 2nd /3rd night, you’ll notice Room was not cleaned properly even if they just cleaned it. You’ll see dirt on the floor, fixed bed sheets but you’ll still see dirt under the linens.

It was clean, beds were very comfortable, and it was close to the Vatican. Breakfast was good and had a nice selection, and their coffee machine was great. Restaurant next door has great pizza, very nice grocery store across the street. Nice staff. We had a triple room and it looked like they just put an extra bed in a double. The fridge was moved over in front of a balcony door and my bed was mashed up against the drapery. We had an another balcony so that worked out but we were packed in like sardines with our luggage.

The facility was clean, welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast had a good spread and the staff was so kind. We cancelled another location last minute and had to book this one instead, they were able to accommodate our booking. It's located about 20 min walk to the Vatican which was the last leg of our trip. So it worked out perfectly. There is also a little grocery store about a block away and the bistros surrounding it have excellent food as well. Our original room had issues so they upgraded us for free to the Jr. Suite. This was by far the most comfortable bed we had on our 15 day trip. The AC in our room was shut off by default (we were there in late October.) We come from a very cold climate so it was very hot for us. More of a personal preference than anything. When we asked for the AC to be turned back on, we got a funny look and told "it's set to 24C" which I explained was too hot for us. They said they would turn the AC back on for our room but it never happened. We managed.
