The location and the staf was excelent. But the breakfast isn't good enough to justify the price.

The daytime front desk staff at Hotel Centre 2 are excellent. Both Daniella and Joan are very polite, professional, friendly, helpful and always patient when we ask questions. We ran into a travel related issue and Joan went out of her way to help us online and keep us informed. We really appreciate her help! We booked a cheap room, so for the price we paid, understandably room is not too great. Bathroom so tiny to turn around in it. Door scrapes the floor.

It took until our final day (day 5) before we found out that there was a shower like lever under the sink to flush larger particles in the toilet. We thought the plumbing was broken the whole time.

It’s an old building but clean

Good value, and the location is great, about a 10 minutes walk from Manzoni station, which connects you to central Rome. That makes it a convenient base for exploring the city during your discovery trip.

The property was awful, the area is a dump, the hotel is a dump. The staff put us in a room in an attic and refused to allow us to change rooms. The room was hot with no windows. The hotel refused to refund me. The hotel lobby stink of cigarettes smoke, the staff was awful, the hotel is old and run down.

Location, they clean the room and change towels every day, for that amount best catch AC you need to tell them to turn it on on reception so you cannot change temperature, one day they just turn it off and didn't answer on the phone, but you can survive it because they put extra blankets in Woodrow. Breakfast can be Reacher

    Very clean!

The hotel is fairly good for the amount we paid. We did not pay for the breakfast, so there is no any feedback about it, however the room is as not as we expected. The size is quite small for 2 person to pack and unpack and moving around. The best is the location, which is in the very nearby the bus stand and Metro station (just about 200 m. in distance). well, as usual, we expect the smiling face at the front desk when we check in the Hotel. We did not find that in our case. The staff seems to be not very welcoming. but the lady in the morning at the front desk seems to be quite helpful during out check out time.

I was hit by a car and the receptionist called medics for me, and explained the legal needs, and even translated.

Locations Room leaking from the ceiling

The front desk staff was very helpful and professional. I chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the Coliseum. The photos of the double room on Booking.com looked acceptable—nothing extravagant but decent enough. However, what we received for over €350 for two nights was completely unacceptable. Room #433 turned out to be an attic space, though it was never advertised as such. The setup was cramped and poorly arranged, with two beds, a credenza, and two small nightstands squeezed into a tiny area—nothing like the images shown online. The photos on Booking.com are deceptive and do not reflect the actual condition or layout of the room. The ceiling had large wooden beams (approximately 8” x 8”) running across it at such a low height that anyone taller than 1.7 meters (5’9”) would continuously hit their head. This made the room extremely uncomfortable and impractical to use. Additionally, the surrounding area did not feel safe or appealing, contrary to the impression given by the listing. Given the misleading room presentation and the substandard conditions we encountered, I am formally requesting compensation for this stay. The experience was far below what was promised and paid for.

While the room was very bad, with no windows, spiders that hadn't been swept away, and a very bad smell.

The hotel has an old-fashioned charm with high ceilings and spacious rooms that fit three to four people comfortably. The price is decent if you’re on a tight budget — you might save around $15–30 a night compared to other places in the area. However, the neighborhood feels a bit unsafe, especially at night. The train/tram station nearby is very dark with no street lighting, so I strongly recommend getting back to the hotel before it gets dark. Another issue was a white-haired man who sits in the common dining area every morning. He spent two days yelling at our group of 21 people in Italian — my translator app picked up that he was basically telling us to leave if we weren’t paying for their breakfast. He clearly didn’t want us sitting there without buying food. If you’d like, I can share a photo of him for reference who is HE.

I’ve stayed here 5 times before the stuff was always friendly but this time the receptionist was very rude I asked for some help with my luggage and he said no ?? I was shocked

Hotel is situated nearby Termini station, that is very comfortable. Check-in/check-out desk is available 24/7 - it’s the best!!!! The room is clean, comfortable. It has several sockets. The heating is proceeded with air-conditioning, it was warm. There is no hygienic shower.

Excellent! I do not know why people expect a 3 star hotel to be as 5 start hotel. I read so many bad reviews for this place. Our stay was excellent. Staff was super friendly, comfortable bed, fresh towel every day, quiet, tasty breakfast , great location and reasonable price. I cannot say a bad word for it and I would stay there again. Thanks everyone at Hotel Centre 2
