Unbeatable location. Very clean and staff is really nice and helpful. It’s not a luxury hotel
-
Excellent location to all the sights. Quiet room even on the streetside
-
Location and price Shower did not drain. Poor plug situation. Internet not always working. Staff slow to respond. No working safe and they did not fix it
-
Located in a central part of Rome, close to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps. Great restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly and available late at night. Room was small, but had large, clean bathroom. AC could have been a little cooler

Ideally located to public transportation and key tour sites

I know it was a busy time in Rome and a great location, but I do think my room (shared shower) was overpriced for what it was. It is also always more convenient when a hotel is able to offer a breakfast, and this one did not have an option even to purchase as an extra.

We were offered a luggage storage for free for days we travelled to Venice Location is amazing, a few minutes from Trevi fountain and all the the vibe I will definitely choose hotel Julia for my next visit to Rome Thank you!

The location. Room was spacious. Window out to Main Street.

The location is great. Fairly easy walking to the sites we wanted to visit, especially the Trevi Fountain, though for us the hill and the cobblestones made moving with a walker challenging. Rosa was a delightful receptionist and a great help. The room was a bit small, but this is Europe. The tiny shower made it a bit difficult for my balance challenged husband, but we managed. There was coffee and fresh croissants available for purchase in the morning, which was helpful. Good restaurants were very close, and we took advantage of that in the evening! But even the tourist restaurants near the fountain were good! The bed was extremely firm. It would benefit from some type of topper to cushion the firmness. In early May, their a/c system was not yet functioning, so room temperature depended on keeping the window open. As we were on the 1st floor facing the street, there was a lot of noise and it did interfer with sleep. The room quickly became stuffy when the window was closed. Rosa thought they would try to bring their tech in sooner than June. Also, the wifi was very poor. They said it had been boosted to work in the rooms, but it didn't work well there, nor in the common areas where it was supposed to be the best. I had to depend on restaurant wifis or my phone carrier away from the hotel to cover my internet needs.

Location and staff Price, but I get it, it is Rome
-
Hotel Julia is a safe location in the heart of downtown Roma about a block from the Trevi Fountain, a Tigre grocery, the bus stop, shopping, restaurants and bars. And less than 2 miles from other top locations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean and efficient rooms. 2nd stay there and would stay again.

This hotel is one of my best discoveries. I have traveled extensively around the world and stayed in both luxury and mid-range hotels, but I truly appreciate hotels that offer great value and quality beyond the price paid — and that is rare. Simply put, it provides everything you need while traveling, without unnecessary luxury that can cost extra money which is better spent on other experiences. This hotel does exactly that. It gives you the true spirit of the city of Rome, combined with comfort and exceptional hospitality. I would like to especially thank Katiuscia for her outstanding kindness and attention to every detail. Personally, if I ever visit Rome again, I will not stay anywhere else but this hotel. Nothing

Rosa at the front desk was very accomdating and helpful. Close to Trevi fountain.

Perfect location Very small bathrooms
-
Great sized bathroom, and good shower and toilet. Whole room felt very clean. The room was comfortable over all. The location was great. Close to metro and bus stations. And Trevi fountain right now the street. Felt like I was in a prison cell, the window is a view out onto a platform. Nothing to see. I believe the room next to me was a closet or washing room for room service. Which was fine, until they were banging things around. The wifi was horrible, they say its only guranteed in the common areas, and not actually in your room. I don't think you should list wifi as an amenity if it doesn't work in your room. It said 5 bars for the 4th floor wifi, which I joined and then my devices said it had no internet to connect to.
