The ceiling of the bathroom was styrofoam and it was falling off above the bathroom door. The beds were hard. The elevator only worked half the time. The shower had zero hot water out first day and then we got hot water and it was either the choice of boiling hot or luke warm. On top of that one morning we had left the “please clean” sign on the door and couldn’t get the door to lock so we left it and were gone from 7-12 and they had gone in our room turned off our ac and notified us that the door was unlocked, then we left at 2 switched the sign to “please don’t clean” and when we came back they had gone in AGAIN and finally cleaned the room. what was the purpose of going in our room the first time if they weren’t going to clean it. it just made us very uncomfortable.

Location was central to main attractions. 20 min to 30 min walk to Travis Fountain and Colosseum. Once we arrived, front staff told us we can cancel our reservation from booking. Com to save 15 percent for our first day. However, booking.com only allows cancellation 2 weeks before first day accommodation. I didn’t like that he suggested us to cancel and rebook. That would have cost us an extra day pay!! City tax too expensive. $5/ person/ night. $60 for 3 nights is way too expensive! There are multiple hotels in the same building. 2 or 3 different hotel companies using the same complex. We were in a 2 star. Same facility had a 3 star hotel. Different hotels in the same building- very odd!

Staff wasn’t very helpful or around. Bathroom floor was dirty and shower water was cold.

The location is amazing, less than 5 minutes walking to the Fontana di Trevi. Hot water, comfortable bed, easy to comunicate with the administration.
-
Perfect central location Paper thin walls between rooms (in fact, they seemed made of paper)- I’ve never experienced anything like it (fortunately). A couple was staying in the room next to mine. I could hear every word they said as if there was no wall between us, as well as the husband’s snoring all night, as if his bed was actually in my room. Terrible.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location wasn't bad. There is a nice cafe across the street and a very favorable restaurant next door. The hotel is three flights of stairs up. There is an elevator, but it is very small and looks decidedly home-made. Our room had an awkward step that made it quite dangerous to get up in the night and smelled faintly of a sauerkraut factory. One of the pictures shows the Trevi fountain but it is, in fact several blocks away. I was double charged on the city tax. Also, be aware that this hotel is in the congestion zone. You will have to park (20E a day) about 4 or 5 blocks away and walk or take a taxi. They didn't explain this to us until we got there.

Location was really close to many locations that were on our to do list. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain.
-
Simple centrally located hotel. Lots of stairs when the very old elevator isn’t working.
-
Very close to transit and Trevi. The person who check us in was very nice and messaged us that our room was ready early since he knew we wanted to drop off our bags early. It was way too small. The way the keey system worked was strange. The elevator was broken and the first floor was 0 not 1 and we had to carry luggage up to floor 3. Then we tried to take a shower and there was no hot water. This place was terrible.

Great stuff, unfortunately I did not ask the name of the gentleman who helped me with the check in and was answering WhatsApp messages, but he was extremely nice, answered all my questions. Location is very good too, very close to all the main attractions but still in a quieter street. I’ve booked this place just for a short 2 days layover and it was good value for the money I’ve paid, it was the cheapest option in the city center so I was prepared for the worst, but turned out to be it exceeded my expectation. It is clean and quiet. Perfect for short stay when you are not planning to spend time in the hotel and just come here to sleep.

Fantastic location. The room was spacious and had fridge, water, drinks and toiletries available. The staff were really helpful and willing to offer assistance with anything we wanted. It is worth noting that the shutters kept out light and noise exceptionally well - we had a great night's sleep. Three flights up - the lift was extremely narrow and might be difficult for some....a really minor issue though
