The location was good. We experienced exactly what other booking reviews mentioned, so unfortunately nothing came as a surprise. This is supposedly a four-star hotel, but in reality it has no proper management and feels more like a poorly run Airbnb. Room cleanliness was very weak. The facilities are old and worn out. Bed sheets were full of stains and hair. When we complained, they casually said it’s normal because the housekeeping staff are women — so hair everywhere is “expected”! Completely unprofessional. The heating system was weak and unreliable. Be careful not to get scammed: the reception staff may try to charge you extra for their own benefit. But the biggest issue is the staff. The receptionists are incompetent and rude, and completely unable or unwilling to help with anything. Especially a young guy named Andrico — clearly untrained, unprofessional, and absolutely useless in a front-desk role. Overall, a very disappointing experience that does not meet four-star standards at all.

The location is great — just a few minutes from the Colosseum and close to public transport like the tram, which made moving around the city very easy. The price was excellent for the area, and the breakfast was surprisingly good, with a varied buffet and fresh options. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Overall, it offered good value for money and a convenient base for exploring Rome. The only downside was the cleanliness of the room, which could have been better. Some areas felt a bit dusty and the bathroom needed a more thorough cleaning. Other than that, everything worked fine and the stay was comfortable.

Location was ok. Breakfast buffet was good No parking available close by. Housekeeping was horrible. Didn’t replenish supplies, didn’t sweep the floors. Had to make out the daybed myself.

There are many nice cafes and restaurants within a 5-minute walk of the Colosseum, and it was very quiet despite being close to the center. I especially liked the large bathroom and bathtub, which I did not expect in Rome.
