City Life Rome

The breakfast was extraordinarily good. The station area is not my favorite but it was very convenient and also surprisingly quiet and safe feeling. The people were kind. The owner was nice enough to be flexible with checking in and out. Decent value even in an overpriced city. The rooms are small and there isn’t a dedicated front desk so you need to leave your luggage in a foyer if you check out earlier.

It was a little hard to find (not unlike other hotels in the area)... and not a big deal. I'm just trying hard to think of something I didn't like lol.

Breakfast was fine location was great. Booking needs to do a better job informing guests about the unusual arrangements with this hotel. There is no reception and I spent around two hours trying to find my room number and getting throug the gate which was closed. I was not aware that an email with the name and contacts of the hotel staff person with the information I needed to check in was sent to me. I'm glad that I arrived in day time otherwise I would have been compelled to book a room in another hotel.

The room was centrally located to everywhere we needed to go. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect choice for our stay, the close proximity to Termini made it so easy to get around, and it was so nice to come back at the end of the day to a cool, clean room. The hosts are so kind and accommodating, and the delicious breakfast was something I looked forward to every day!

What made this place truly special was the owner, an elderly gentleman who treated guests like family. One morning, I mentioned that I wanted to save my breakfast fruit for later in the evening, and he kindly said yes. When I returned to the hotel that night, not only were the banana and pear from breakfast waiting for me, but he had also added a kiwi and even prepared a small knife for cutting the fruit. The next morning, there was even an orange added to the breakfast fruit plate. Such thoughtful kindness really touched me. Every morning he would sit in his little room and warmly greet me with a smile. Staying here felt less like a hotel and more like visiting family. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely people who looked after us very well

The location, value for the money, and staff made our stay very enjoyable. As I said in another review, I cannot sufficiently thank the Italian people for their graciousness and assistance. In addition. My husband is a disabled veteran, so we applaud the Italians for their program that makes visiting the historical sites convenient, cost effective, and pleasant. We discovered this program by accident and, in spite of an occasional language barrier, we were always treated graciously, and allowed in with minimal delay (standing for a long time is difficult for him).

Great place to stay! The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. It’s a ten minute walk from the train station and a thirty minute walk from some of the main sites in Rome.

Location We’re in our 70s so climbing up To the loft was a Little challenging and the ceiling was low For A 6 ft guy.

Everything was spot on. The staff were lovely and friendly, the room was very clean, breakfast was excellent, and it’s so handy for the sights. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for more.? There was only one bin, in the bathroom. It’d be better if there was another one out in the main room for general rubbish.

The room was cozy, spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. The owners are kind, thoughtful and make the BEST breakfasts! Entry way is a little dark and cold but do not let that fool you. This place is great!

The place was fantastic, easy to find and reach, pretty close to the Termini station. The room was perfect for a person or two with a broad bathroom inside. In winter the place stays warm and it has an A/C unit for the summer. The bed was firm and comfortable, it also has a supletary mattress for a second person. Also the location is great, I was able to reach main touristic points on foot. The hosts were very kind and attentive with everything, with the breakfast and helping with indications in the best way to reach every place, also recommended places for lunch.

Clean, safe , close to attractions, excellent host and breakfast

Property is a short walk to two metro stations. Breakfast was excellent and they were super helpful in providing recommendations and instructions.
