    Great Location!

The public transit conventions from there were worse than I expected

Really excellent. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is prefect: walking distance to the Vatican (Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter´s Square and Basilica are all close by) and there is a Subway / Metro station (Cipro station) also within a 5 minutes walk, and the subway takes you to the main attractions / monuments (Fontana di Trevi, Coliseum, Circus Maximus, Pantheon...) and to the main station (Roma Termini), where high speed trains connect you to Florence or Naples, for example, and there is also a very convenient train every 15 minutes to Fiumicino Airport (Ticket is14 Euros).

    Nice place, location, and people.

Everything good, but the bathroom in room 11 desperately needs a shelf to hold the bits and bobs in our toilet bags, and get them off the floor.. Lack of info, re local bus routes - the Metro seemed the only useable transport because trains have to follow the tracks !

Location Eggs were not included in the breakfast

Nothing The person who was supposed to be there at reception was not there. It was very difficult to get into, the key did not work. The person who came after an hour to let me in, was very rude and obnoxious and called me names. I request a refund as I did not stay there or even get into the room.

We really enjoyed staying here. It's in a neighborhood on a hill, overlooking some of the other houses (the views were fantastic), and situated a few blocks from Musei Vaticani and within walking distance from the entrance to Vatican City (Porta Angelica). It's a casa per ferie, very family-style, once a house probably, now an accommodation. Our room was huge! It had a balcony overlooking the Vatican city walls and gardens. The bed was super comfortable; there were lots of storage areas and 2 closets; it also had AC and the water in the shower was nice. Staff was friendly, there're no kettles in the rooms but they were kind enough to leave one in the dining hall so we could use it if we wanted tea or mate at night. There were vending machines for snacks and coffee and a microwave available if you wanted to reheat food and eat there. It had a garage as well if you arrived by car. The A Metro line was a few blocks away (Cipro or Ottaviano) meaning you were 7 stations from Termini (where you could walk or take the B line to the Colosseo); this line also takes you to Piazza di Spagna, Via del Corso, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, the whole historic center. So it was nice to sleep in a quiet, more authentic and less touristy neighborhood, while being 15' away from the city centre. Breakfast was very nice; the staff would prepare you your choice of espresso and then there were a lot of traditional Italian pastries to choose from, from pasta frola to lemon cream and pinoli cake, to croissants (plain, with pistachio or with orange cream) and fruits and sandwiches, all very good and fresh. They also had a mini fridge with different choices of juice (including blood orange) and yogurt. The only small thing was that there weren't enough sockets, but it's minimal, everything else was great.

The room was big and well served And there was parking for the car which made my stay comfortable and easy The only thing i had a problem with is that the water was not hot enough for the shower

    All of it

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

I like Mondo our friendly receptionist ! he was caring and prepared us the best coffee and pastries we have ever had ! The shower was too small and when showering even with the curtains closed, we splashed the rest of the bathroom floor which makes it little harder to keep it clean

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

The location The room was old, the bed and sheets were old. The shower was right next to your bed and TV was useless as it was too small. The parking was €10 and was hard to leave as they dont provide clear instructions on how to leave. I just left and booking.com didn't leave want to give a refund.

Great pastries for breakfast. Perfect location for a day at St. Peter’s and Vatican. Across the street from the entrance to Vatican Museum. Great value and owner friendly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were very clean. Power went out for several hours my first morning. But it was resolved by noon.

  • Engine customer Dec 2025

Bumpy sidewalk on the way (not just them, but the entire street; so not their fault)

  • Engine customer Nov 2025

I liked that the property was in close distance to the Vatican, the main site I wanted to visit. Although, It was a very hard from the metro station to the property which included hills and steps, not easy when carrying luggage with you on wheels. You have to walk up a hill and steps to get to the property from the metro station.

    No AC

  • Engine customer Jun 2025

The room was small, I don't remember twin beds being so extremely small. Bathroom facility was very crowded, it was a nightmare trying to use them.

Not very clean and not quite

    Nice service
