The location of the hotel was excellent, with most of Rome's major attractions within walking distance, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed after spending long days exploring the city. It was a great place to relax and get a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help in any way they could, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome. The only disappointment was that the hotel was undergoing renovations to the entrance and lobby during our stay. This was not mentioned when we made our booking, and we were not informed in advance. To be fair, the renovation work did not cause much noise, but it still affected the overall atmosphere and first impression of the hotel. I believe guests should be informed of ongoing renovations before making a reservation.

The extensive mold in the bathroom above the tub/shower. The AIr Conditioning barely worked and its use was in a restricted schedule. The room had a weird smell to it and generally did not seem clean. The ceiling light had a mind of its own. Came on and off whenever it wanted. The shower was plugged and overflowed. We stayed 1 night of the 4 scheduled and booked a room at another location. We have not been reimbursed for the 3 nights we didn't stay. I rarely ever complain, but this location was not at all what we were expecting or even reasonably close.

The location was perfect, it was a couple minutes walk from the Spanish Steps so it was centrally located but it was on a quiet street so not too many people right around the hotel. The room was huge, it was me and my partner and there was so much space. The shower was interesting, it was a tub with a handheld sprayer but no where to put the sprayer and no shower curtain so we had to hold it ourselves to shower. It wasn't too difficult, just wasn't expecting that.

The rooms could use an update; the comforter was quite old and the smell of cleaning supplies was reminiscent of my grandma's house. There was also an unpleasant sewage smell in the bathroom, but I've traveled a lot and I know there just isn't a lot to be done about that in older buildings. The wifi was quite poor and I wouldn't rely on it for important calls.

Room was spacious and the location convenient to Metro at Spanish Steps. Staff lovely. Bathtub had no curtain so hard to use hand nozzle. Almost impossible to shower without getting floor wet and just having hand nozzle not the best. Would have loved some extra soap for the tub- just little packets of body wash and shampoo.

It was a convenient location Air conditioning didn’t work properly (it was over 30 degrees C). We had to carry our luggage up 1 1/2 flights of stairs even though we were on the 1st floor!

Cute Boutique!! Great Location, near Spanish Steps in Rome!!

The room was very comfortable and clean. The location is also very good and close to important points, these are the highlights. It was very hot and the staff told us not to touch the air conditioner, which was completely off on the first day and very weak on the other days. We felt the heat. Also, there’s no option for not disturbing. I don’t like people entering my room during the stay, but they did it every day to clean up.

    1. tiny room. bed was rock hard and sloped down. i felt like a monk. 2. No AC even though it’s summer and the property listing says there is AC. I had to sleep with my windows open which felt extremely unsafe as there was a balcony off my window which connected to the neighbor’s balcony. I would leave the windows closed and locked during the day for the reason and would come back to the hotel only to find that the housekeeping staff opened the windows. 3. they make you leave your room key with them any time you leave the building. staff doesn’t speak English and I was given the wrong room key. 4. you can hear quite literally everything through the walls. i could hear when my neighbor would turn in her bed. the worst part was the sound of people trying to figure out how to unlock their doors in the middle of the night.

I had a lot of trouble using the door key. It needs updated. The TV is way too small. The desk could use a lamp. The desk needs a trash can. More modern fixtures are needed for the shower. A rug by the bed would be nice. A comfortable chair with a lamp next to it would be a nice addition.

We loved our room. I don't think I've ever had furniture so beautiful in a hotel before. It is a very old building, but the owners do what they can to modernize it. Without losing the original grandeur. We would happily return. Okay, so the heating system was strange. Almost to the point of being comical. They had a brand new, state-of-the-art, split air pump. Which would have been wonderful, except there was no way to control it. Someone attempted to place an on-off switch on the wall, but it was defunct. I'm not sure why they couldn't have left the remote that comes with these machines. Sure, sometimes people steal remotes. (Which is weird in and of itself). But probably investing in extra remotes would be worth it. It was so hot! The machine wouldn't turn off. It was February and we slept with the balcony doors open. Which made it comfortable, but I felt bad for the waste of electricity.
