Hotel Lilium

States there is an elevator however you must be able to go up 2 sets of steps about 12 total to get to the elevator which was difficult with luggage. There's nobody to assist with luggage. Also the AC wasn't very good but the ceiling fan helped.

Nice property, very good breakfast and confortable room. A bit noisy from the street late at night, maybe because we were directly facing a busy street

It felt very secure with two keys to get into the main hotel lobby and they were kind enough to store my luggage for a few hours. A bit removed from the sights of Rome which required a 20 minute walk to get to.

Lovely boutique property in central Rome, rooms smallish but comfortable, excellent breakfast looking down a big long avenue. Lovely seating area at reception. Staff excellent and spoke good English. V helpful Room quite hot as not sure if the air con was going that well, it was ok though we just opened the window

Perfect

First room was not up to par. Several issues popped up during the first day. These issues could have been resolved ripe to our check in. Nevertheless upon advising management Somona immediately arranged for a new room which was way better.

Location was close to train station! We stayed at the end of our visit to Italy as well and asked for a room without a step to the bathroom as my sister recently broke her foot and she was worried about tripping. However, we were still given a room without a step!

The hotel is very easy to reach from the central station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom even looked recently renovated. The area around the hotel is good, filled with cafes and restaurants and there was even a supermarket right next to the hotel entrance. The furniture in the room looked a bit old and out of place with the rest of the hotel. The shower wasn't the best and only offered minimal water pressure.

We loved staying at Lilium Boutique Hotel! We are a family traveling off-season with one teenage daughter and we stayed in the triple room. The hotel was easy to find coming by car and we were able to park our car close-by in a secure garage as we did not need it during our 2 night stay. You can go on foot almost everywhere from the location, it is close to the historic center, about a 15 minute walk. The neighborhood felt very safe, clean, not crowded; and there were so many great dining options within a 5 minute walk. (Al Forno della Soffitta was the best meal we had on our 2 week road trip) We also walked through the park, over the bridge to Vatican museum; it took us about 50 minutes but a great way to see not just the tourist spots. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, the shower was great, the breakfast was nice. The highlight for me was the beauty and attention to detail of the hotel itself, a modern take on vintage Italian decor. We hope to go back for a longer stay without the teenager : ) 100% recommended!

Lilium truly has a soul! You feel it the moment you enter. The staff was kind and attentive, the breakfast excellent, and after a small room issue we were upgraded for free. The location near the railway station is very convenient. We would definitely stay here again! Nothing

The bed was extremely comfortable, clean, and beautiful sheets, for a 3* hotel. We really appreciated having a big bed. We're not large but it's nice to have your own space. The room we stayed in had a lovely, large bath, which after a day walking around the colosseum, forum and the Vatican museum was bliss! Also... The room had a kettle! Not often found in Italy! The breakfast was good, although I wasn't sure about the cold meats on display, and I felt the overall choice was a little limited. That said, we didn't leave feeling hungry on a morning. The staff were really kind and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you to all for making a tiring few days more relaxed. The frontage initially made me think we'd either been directed to the wrong place or had found somewhere "dodgy", as it's just one of several businesses behind the usual, large, anonymous doors. The first staircase was a bit of a faff with the case to be fair, and the lift scared the life out of me... And I've seen a few "old" lifts in European apartments. Although everything was spotlessly clean, it feels like the bedrooms are maybe due a refurbishment, as there's water damage and mould in edges of the bath and door, with the bedroom floor uneven due to a possible leak.

Breakfast was very good. Near good restaurants. Bit too far to walk from train station. Weird street entrance. Had to take small elevator to hotel floor.

Low water pressure makes us unable to have a shower. The elevator is so old and seems unsafe.
