We had to switch hotels when we arrived in Rome. The city was under a heat emergency and our original hotel’s air condit

The hotel and rooms were very clean. It had essential amenities like soap, body wash, fridge, and a safe. It wasn’t the property that we didn’t like. When we first got there, we were concerned about the surrounding area. It was Sunday, so many places were closed. There also was a large amount of graffiti. Our concerns about our safety in the area went away though. We discovered a lovely cafe, restaurant and grocery store. Our only complaint was the location, because we weren’t close to the city center. We ended up taking a taxi to most places.

Everything, location, staff, cleanliness! nothing, I recommend to anyone thinking about booking with them.

The hotel was everything we look for in a hotel in this price range. The room was comfortable, with basic, comfortable chairs rather than stylish back-killers. The location is terrific. We only wish we had known that we could have taken the tram from Termini Station to the hotel rather than walking. But the tram does stop just in front of the hotel. There are coffee shops, a super market, and restaurants, including Chinese and Indian. The staff were friendly, making us feel at home. The shower was a bit small.

Here’s a more polished and natural version of your review in English: We absolutely loved this hotel, but what stood out the most was the exceptional service from the staff. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home. During our stay, I accidentally left my wedding ring in the room. I informed the staff, and they kindly took the time to go back to the room, retrieve it, and safely keep it for me until I could pick it up. That level of honesty, care, and attention truly meant a lot to us. We also greatly appreciated being allowed to check in early at 11 a.m. after a very long journey. Small gestures like that make a huge difference and show how much they genuinely care about their guests. The room was spotless, which is extremely important to us. We also loved that smoking is not allowed in the rooms, making the environment feel fresh, clean, and very comfortable. Overall, our stay was incredible. My husband and I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. We loved everything from this hotel.

We liked the central location of the hotel, near Termini train station, metro and bus stations. The room was nice, provided with tea/coffee and we appreciated that there was no smell, you know, the very specific smell encountered in some old buildings. The written personalized card was very nice :) The wifi was good. We didn't like just one thing - while the beds were made every day, towels arranged in the bathroom, the floors were not wiped. It would have been nice to clean the floor at least every other day.

A little small but clean and comfortable The location was a little different.

Our stay at Hotel Principe Eugenio was a wonderful experience. This charming family-owned hotel made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room is clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect — close to many of the main attractions, making it easy to explore the city. What truly stood out was the kindness of the owners and staff, who were always friendly, helpful, and attentive. Their warm hospitality gave the hotel a personal touch that made our trip even more enjoyable The bathroom is quite small

The room is not exactly as in the picture. We chose the room because it has a balcony with a view, turns out the balcony doesn’t have a view.

Quiet, friendly owned family hotel, close to grocery, close to tram, and close to restaurant. We have been going to this hotel for 25 years. It is a quiet, friendly, family-owned hotel, close to a grocery store, close to the tram, and close to restaurants. My mom and sister stayed here and loved it.

The staff is top-level: very friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel is clean, calm, and comfortable, ideal for families and travelers. You can reach all the main attractions easily, which makes visiting Rome very simple and enjoyable. I really recommend this hotel. Great staff, great location, great experience. The location is perfect — everything is next to you: • Roma Termini very close • Metro and bus stops nearby • Restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and shops all within walking distance

Big room and bathroom. Good amenities: coffee/tea in room, a/c, big towels, slippers, refrigerator, safe. Clean and room was quiet. Couple who owns the property and mostly at reception are sweet. Great supermarket and famous Gelato place across the street. Nice bar/cafes steps away. Elevator was out of order for our stay except it could be used for luggage. It’s a bit of a hike with luggage to train station. Area close to station is a bit seedy and dirty depending what street you take. Avoid walking on street next to terminal- bad pavement. Walk up to Napoleon buonoparte then left direct to hotel.

Room was spacious and cleaned daily. Plenty of room in the bathroom and the hot water was ready all hours. Water pressure was good. Had no issues with the hotel wi-fi connection. There is always someone at the front desk. Could have been clear that the price that I booked at did not include breakfast, but that was not a deal breaker for me as there are plenty of options available near by.

Location and price to value.

Owners Nothing everything was ok

Good location, and clean rooms

Family owned hotel, staff was so helpful and being on our honeymoon we had a wonderful welcome treat in the room! Location is very “eclectic”. It’s not in the best part of town for walk ability and safety, we felt like. Close to train station and a good coffee spot, but wouldn’t stay in the area again.

loved the full length mirror, bus stop right outside, decent size room with AC bed was slightly short, but comfortable. we were confused about breakfast because it wasn’t offered but there was a sign for it on a door downstairs
