Hotel Varese Roma

Location and the staff! All of the staff without exception were super sweet (breakfast, cleaning, reception). I have never encountered such a welcoming staff!! Rooms could be renovated a bit

This hotel exceeds the average 3-star standard. It's well located, just a short walk from the main station, clean and well-equipped throughout. The room came with all the toiletries you could need: right down to a razor and a sewing kit, not to mention toothbrushes. It even had slippers, which is a welcome surprise for a hotel at this level. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in came with a lovely touch, such as complimentary juice and cookies. The air conditioning, though not centrally controlled, worked brilliantly on a hot summer night, and the Wi-Fi was reliable throughout our stay. Breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was tasty and more than enough to set us up for a day exploring Rome. Rather than a buffet, it's served à la carte, so you can order eggs (scrambled or boiled), vegetables, cheese, ham, fresh croissants and drinks made to order. Our only complaint was the breakfast room itself because it's quite small, seating just 12 to 15 people, and doesn't feel especially cosy.

From the Fronk desk staff (Dominic) to the others at the breakfast area were very professional and courteous. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you all for making our trip memorable. Nothing for the place and staff were exception in my books. Close to everything including Roma Termini (central train station), less than 5-10 minutes walk.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We felt right at home. The staff was very attentive to our needs and even gave us recommendations for dining and shopping. We will stay here again! Nothing. Our stay was great!

Closer to Roma Termini bathroom

staff are wonderful and super friendly and they seem to have made updates to the hotel which is nice to see, I have stayed here several times. LOVE that they allow pets! Nice breakfast! the mattress could be more comfortable, also, no extra blanket but the temp in the room was ok. Toilet seat was not fully attached but no big deal! I wish they would fix the mosaic floor in the elevator.

The hotel was a great location from Termini Station as we were catching a train early morning. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The made to order breakfast was a wonderful start to a very busy day ahead. Location was quiet with small cafes around the neighborhood. Nothing, we had no complaints.

We stayed here for a couple of nights after arriving in Rome from airport via train before starting a tour of Southern Italy. Rooms are not large but suited a short stay in between trips (they may have larger rooms). Very handy to train station, comfortable stay, staff very friendly.

I had a very pleasant stay, all the the staff were very nice and helpful, the room was nice and clean, breakfast was not a buffet but you can order anything you want and how many you want from the menu, location was also very convenient, just 5 min walk to get to termini station, would surely come back again!

Good location, nice staff, great breakfast. Elevator is very old and small, makes scare noises and only fits a single suitcase. Mirror in room was broken which was a bit scary with a toddler.

The elevator was on the small side, so take that into consideration if you plan to bring a lot of luggage.

Location and good breakfast I wish it had a pool or outdoor garden, Rome was very hot
