I Villini del Pigneto

* Hospitality of the property owners was excellent! * They helped me book a taxi for my departure, which was much appreciated. * The croissants for breakfast were great! * The black-out window shades and curtains made for great sleeping-in. * Multiple vinyl record stores (Radiation Records & Blutopia Records) within less than a 5 minute walk. * Great burger place (The Factory) w/in a 5 minute walk. * The AC unit and/or some sort of plumbing contraption in the walls made noises about every 20-30 minutes and woke me up several times both nights.

The place is very clean, well designed and comfortable When I checked in I was told by the man there I could come to the breakfast room to take coffee before the 7 am breakfast. I did that. The next morning the room was padlocked at 6 am. I was insulted. This is not the way to treat guests. I believe the woman of the establishment resented that I took the coffee that I was told I could. I will not go back to this place.

Perfect location, very nice neighbourhood - quiet area. Many good restaurants and cafes near. Giuliano is good host! We stayed at 1st floor, had bedroom and separate bathroom (private). Really lovely furniture :). House is also lovely, if warm you can enjoy outside/terrace breakfast example. Colosseum is 3,5 km and you can easily walk there, but Pigneto metro station is near also. 1st floor there is one bedroom, bathroom and also kitchen. Kitchen is where at mornings breakfast is served - from early morning. So if You want have breakfast there and You would like to sleep longer at mornings, then its complicated - other may have breakfast at next room and you hear everything and can't sleep. This is only one and really little problem - if you have good sleep and breakfast people are not noisy then maybe you won't hear nothing :)

The place is nice and new. Giuliano was so nice and supportive. He gave me many useful tips and even informed me to checkin earlier than normal because I arrived in Rome early. There is mould smell from the exhaust fan in the bathroom when we turn on the light and the fan. I think it is because the bathroom has no window and some guests close the door all the time.

Area of Pigneto is beautiful you have so many option to explore starting from this point. Host Juliano is very frendly, listening needs of guests and always available if you have questions. Villa, garden, bathroom,kitchen... everything is done with a lot of details and it really leaves you breathless while staying in the villa. I've seen people leave a lot of low rating for the location, which dosen't make sense because they're familiar with where villa is located. Addition to location it takes approx. 1h walking from Villa to Colosseum, and you can see lot of things on that way. This location is very good connectes with bus & metro lines. Safety, I took the opportunity to visit one of the local clubs late at night, no incidents safe & quiet area really, don't let graffiti shape your image of place. Pigneto is beuatiful area with lot of Villas. Juliano hvala ! Overall everything was perfect. I will mention thah brekfast can improved with more options.

We really liked our room; it was clean and decorated so uniquely. The host was amazing; informative and helpful. The Metro was close and took us to the centre of Rome within a half an hour. There was no fridge or kettle in the room. We were not able to keep our drinks, etc cold. The kettle would have been nice to make tea or coffee. We did not have access to the kitchen.

The beauty of it, close to public transport, very clean and a nice smell. The host is fantastic, the very best I have ever come across. Giuliano, you’re a star. Don’t have anything bad to say

Our host was accommodating and we felt very welcome during our stay! The breakfast was simple but good, felt like we had what we needed, and the area was pleasant. Everything was great

I didn’t like that no one came in the 3 days that I was there to clean the room or empty the trash. The sheets smelled musty after the first day. I couldn’t figure out how to use the shower and it was very small.

This hotel is extremely clean, comfortable and it has large rooms. Not even one problem existed. Giuliano is very helpful and kind. I strongly advice you to stay here.

Very convenient. Feel like at home. For breakfast was excellent coffee and croissants. Some fruits and yogurt was available.
