Fairfield Inn by Marriott Roseville

Thank you for your hospitality, staff were friendly and helpful, and room was cozy and clean. Also the oval all sound travel from other rooms were next to none at all.

I asked for a room close to an exterior door since I walk a cane after surgery and away from the loud road. I was given a room on the loud road with a drawer that would not stay closed making it difficult to get between the bed and the dresser with my cane. The bathroom had a cracked sink or dark hair in the sink, I am blonde. I did not want to touch it and find out. It also had dirty footprints in the bathroom and a deadbolt that malfunctioned. When I left to check out I tried 8 times and could not even shut the door from the hall.

The staff was amazing - friendly, welcoming, accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was well appointed and delicious.

We had booked this hotel because it was close to the hospital where my husband was in. We originally had to switch rooms because the original smelled of marijuana & had a connected room to it. The 2nd room we were put in, room 128 had mold growing in the bathroom and a musty smell after the a/c was on. The mold was growing in several places along the ceiling, by the vent, the wall was peeling behind the toilet and the bed skirt for one of the queen beds had a urine looking stain clearly visible. Unfortunately by the time we got back to the hotel after visiting my husband, at 1am, we were too exhausted to request another room change since we were leaving that morning. We needed the time to catch up with sleep instead of moving, again. Having this type of health hazard on top of an already distressing situation made a very unpleasant stay. If you stay here, don’t stay in room 128.

M My room smelled so musty and they said it was the air conditioning. Also the room needed some Maintenance. There was a whole behind the toilet. A lot of discoloration on walls, paint, and behind the mirror. The bed skirts were discolored.

I cannot remember the last time I submitted a bad review. We found a long black hair under the sheets and small black hair in the shower. I took photos to show the manager but was so exhausted from the day with the grandkids at the water slides I just went with it. I have had way worse growing up but for those who are picky just be prepared.

Big Rooms, Good Location, Very helpful Front Desk staff, told them we were vegetarians and next day we had Vegetarian food for breakfast. The daily car park cost is in other sense a tax on the cost of the room

Very clean, convenient and location in Roseville was key. Courtesy is valued by staff and entering your room smelling fresh is key after a long day of traveling. Much appreciated overall stay.

Great place to stay. Breakfast was awesome too.
