We booked a two-night stay with breakfast included, and from the moment we pulled into the driveway, we were thoroughly impressed. The entrance looks so professional, and having the covered drop-off area to unload our bags out of the rain was a fantastic start to our weekend away. When we walked into the lobby, we were warmly greeted by a lovely Māori woman at the front desk (I believe her name may have been Marina). She is a total customer service superstar! Her warm smile, genuine kindness, and friendly nature instantly made us feel so welcome. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and she is incredible at her job. That high standard of hospitality carried through our entire stay everyone was just amazing. The whole restaurant staff made breakfast a highlight each morning, and every team member, including housekeeping, was polite, helpful, and attentive. Now, about the beds ..oh my gosh, absolute heaven! They were so comfortable that I wanted to pack mine up and take it home. I even had a cheeky look under the sheets to check the brand so I could buy one for myself! The facilities were exceptionally clean, and the pool was spotless and perfect for families. Plus, even though the hotel is conveniently located near the main road, our room was remarkably quiet and peaceful. We honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about our time here. It was the perfect weekend getaway, and we highly recommend Copthorne Resort Rotorua to anyone visiting. Thank you so much to the whole team for a wonderful stay! Couldn't fault em!

The Ambiance was good. Pool facility was good. Food was good Seatings in front of the reception were not attractive; there should be Chesterfield-style seating to make a good first impression. The washing area in the room was a bit congested and similarly around the table was only one chair for three of us.

The only good things unfortunately were the breakfast, the nice smelling body soap and the white towels There is absolutely nothing else good to say sadly. Window handles falling off Poo on toilet seat Hair on mattress Long black hairs on bath mat Carpet literally damaged and coming up Photos on website show park, our view was a road Place is literally falling apart Heater cable heats up so hot it’s dangerous Front door is so hard to open you need literally bang and push it to open Shower head old and gross Finger prints all over glass door cabinet
