This motel has a great pool for kids. The bathroom in the motel unit had mould around the shower and a leak under the sink so there was always a puddle on the floor.

The pool was amazing , size of room was great , comfy bed

The renovations going on. We got a room right by the reception but there was work being done. I just wouldn't stay again and pay that much while the extra renovations are going on. I think I will wait till renovations are done and request to stay in the newly built rooms. in

We liked the Alpine style of rooms

Room was modern and had good amenities, parking is good. Heated pool while good was not a plunge pool as you can only sit in it, not sure if reception is manned as I called before stay with no one answering. Noise at night, a bit rowdy.

Beds very comfortable Our hot pool was cold the second night of the stay. Need a little more insulation for noise. And so area need an upgrade

Was very comfortable for my family. The kitchen was handy and the spa was used daily. I also liked the scent in the room which helped offset the outside smells. The pillows. We actually went to BedsRUs and bought ourselves better pillows. Perhaps upgrade the pillows or have more of them on each bed as they weren't very fluffly or comfortable.

Location Not a lot of amenities.

location Like most of rotorua hotels it is very old and run down, i appreciate the fact they are building a new complex which is great. the twin apartment lighting was dim so didnt brighting up the room, the toilet was not secure to the floor and moved around. the kitchen knife was rusty, outdoor furniture was rusted, deck timber was dirty and needs cleaning, the pool was dirty with leaves and the surrounding bbq and grounds and furniture where old and unusable. there were a couple maori families that took over the pool area, playing loud gangster music making the area intimidating for other families with kids. The shower water pressure was very low. beds were average but the pillows has lost their plumpness. location is excellent though. conclusion is just over priced and run down.

Host was very friendly easily accommodating Shower lacks power.

Thin walls meant you could hear a lot of neighbor voices.

The construction wasnt great, but was aware prior to arrival so not upset about it

Clean and roomy. Showing its age but everything worked just fine. When they get the new addition finished and update the existing rooms, this will be a great place. Quiet and friendly, a short drive into town.

Very clean, great for a family of 4. Absolutely loved the private hot tub, and great location. Highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting Rotorua. Great value for money. 5 stars

The size was nice, having two beds met our needs. A bit dated, but it was nice.

Great location and our family unit (sleeps 4) was a good size. The construction around the pool deterred us from swimming. Also one of our rooms had a spa inside which looked old and uninviting, we did not want to use it.
-
The bed did not have a fitted sheet, instead 2 flat sheets, in which the bottom became lose & uncomfortable
-
The pool was right next to the building work being carried out, and noise started around 07.15 am. The outside seating area by the hot spa was not clean and very small with no view,

Tried to charge me for arriving early with the excuse that the cleaners were still there, which they weren't. Unnecessary.

Furnishings and decor felt a bit dated and tired. Air con didn't cool the upstairs bedroom so too warm overnight. Both bedrooms and living space open plan so no privacy. Didn't feel very good value
