Facility needs update.

Very good location. Breakfast was nice. The people were very friendly The shower in my room was very small.
-
Check in process was difficult and one main criteria was good breakfast and then I learned when checkin in, that it was not included. Normally in Finnis hotels its included and especially if you advertixe it
-
Gym, the breakfast was good The hotel is old and many issues with finding my reservation.
-
Location was really good The hotel atmosphere is cozy NO PHONE in the room which was inconvenient since our room was located in the other building!! The bathroom was not properly cleaned even at check in. The beds were messy after the daily cleaning The floor was dusty and dirty No tea refill The cups/mugs were dirty and not properly washed The Air condition was broken (I know it’s winter but the room was hot specifically for a family room)

The location and the breakfast was very nice Firstly, there is no phone in the room when i asked the reception about the phone they said we don’t have phones in our rooms , so i was wondering how to contact the reception if i need to ask about something Secondly, they clean the room but they don’t change the towels of the toilet while cleaning you have to go and complain in the reception Thirdly, there is no safe closet to put your personal staff… i complained to the reception he said are you sure he came with me to the room and saw there is no safe he said because we are working on renovation , but he said in the mean time keep your personal staff with you and he said look after your personal things !!! To sum up , the price that i paid is not worth it were there is no phone , they don’t change towels while cleaning and there is no safe as they stated because of the renovation you have to look for your personal things

This was a lovely hotel that is walking distance to everything. Check in was super easy and the front desk staff was lovely. The room which was facing the river was well appointed, very clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. Even the pull out sofa was very very comfortable. It was very quiet at night. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful with so many choices. I loved the fresh smoothies. Nothing. Everything was super.

The property is located in the center of the town. We book the presidential suite. On the first day I found an hair under the duvet. Dust in most of the corner and hair come out from under the bathtub. The house keeping just being fresh towel and toilet rolls. The set the bed with the same gloves their clean the toilets. No vacuum cleaner at all. No worth all the money paid!

I paid for the breakfast, arrived at 9:00 to eat and many options were missing and weren’t replenished

They downgraded me to a smaller room, learnt this when arriving. I booked a bigger room to one person, that was only thing left when I booked my accommodation. They wanted then to rebook the bigger room to others, to make more money :( Breakfast was not the usual scandic quality I am used to. No salmon, no pancakes, poor offering of fruits.

The lounge area by the pool could have been open to enjoy a drink

Location very good, river nearby, beautiful landscape, bus stop nearby. Breakfast is ok, but if something is finished than You have to wait very long for it to be changed. The pool. Every review I see complains about the pool. This hotel is different because it gas pool, but it is sooooo cold, that nobody wants to be there. Why cant You renew and then the pool would be full of people.

I liked the convenience of the hotel within Rovaniemi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of food at breakfast. The cleanliness was of a high standard throughout. Great parking facilities. Better coffee choice at breakfast time i.e. lattes or cappuccino. Water temperature in the swimming pool could be a couple of degrees warmer.

Lovely hotel over looking the river, beautiful views and breathtaking to see from the restaurant - good plentiful and varied breakfast but beware porridge etc and some custard looking cinnamon traditional pastries are salted - don’t like to choose or waste food so just for info, not a complaint. Overall dated but beautiful and well maintained despite needing upgrades. Pool was lovely and yes it’s cold but not as cold as outside and worth a swim, pool was quiet at 830 before breakfast on our last morning and at least we’ve swum in Lapland in winter so another great memory made for us and the children :) There were also pool floats/noodles free to borrow for the children. Would love to go back but not peak season prices! Felt safe and good security to each floor of the hotel too. Added bonus it was a short walk away to the main town centre, angry birds park and by the bus stop for naava cafe and ice skating which was lovely and to Santa Claus village etc. We also walked 40ish mins to the worlds most northern McDonald’s and it was worth it to look around a bit more and it was fun for the children and the best I’ve tasted as it’s Santas after all :) Seriously lovely place to stay and a wonderful view

The room in the newer building was very nice and modern. The pool and sauna area was very cold, it's was in the older hotel and needs a little upgrade, the sauna only opened at 5pm, pictures are old of the space.

That rare thing - a family room for that can fit 2 adults and 3 children - centrally located with great views over the river, and plenty of car parking at no extra charge. Everywhere was cosy, warm and clean. Amazing varied breakfast buffet (also overlooking the river) and a friendly atmosphere - there seemed to be a lot of organised tour groups during our stay, but it didn't detract from the experience. Our room was in a separate building, connected via lift / stairs and underground tunnel (which was helpful when it was -20 outside!). An added bonus was the quiet swimming pool (open daytimes) with sauna (open evenings only), although the pool was colder than advertised. Overall this hotel was great for passing through Rovaniemi, or as a base for day trips and tours. Some areas of the hotel were a little dated, sauna limited to evenings only.
