Native Rose Hotel

No parking close by

The manager was nice when we had issues (although we didn’t get the refund she said we would get.) Really dirty with hair on the bed and the room was obviously not cleaned, couldn’t stay the night because of bed bugs, had to leave after 1 hour because we got bitten.

The location was central, the accommodation was fresh and clean. No parking.

Shared amenities, prefer amenities in the room

Shared bathrooms better than many ensuites. Grear location, pleasant staff, nice vibe. Victoria Road noise was expected (alrhough simple sound insulation treatments seemed absent). Hotel noise beyond intrusive and no/little attenuation evident. This pub has noise abatement to neighbours to allow 12am music (other local bars stop music at 11pm) but none to its own accommodation. Counterproductive to say the least.

Great location. Comfortable bed. Close to Public transportation and the city. Late night music and traffic noise, but as to be expected as it is a pub. No mini fridge in the room.

Everything is to be expected. Expect sleeping above a bar with noise.

Staff were friendly, room was ready early and we were able to leave our bags after checking out for a few hours. Room was a good size with coffee and tea making facilities. Comfortable bed Shared bathrooms were clean and well appointed. Shampoo , cont and body wash supplied. The broken window taped up and the large cockroach on the bed. It’s situation beside a busy road and the fact it was Karaoke night in the bar meant it was a little noisy ( to be expected)

No hair dryer in the bathroom or room.

Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were clean and water pressure was great. Bus stop at front door. Basic pub grub. Staff amazing and very friendly. Would stay there again Power points next to bed didn’t work.

Everything was clean and tidy, the pub downstairs is nice. There is a powerpoint hanging out the wall, and so many airconditioners on that side of the building that the floor vibrates. Hard to sleep unless you are drunk (but I was)

There were 4 of us who travelled through and stayed at the Native Rose Hotel. This Pub/Bar/Restaurant/Hotel/Location certainly exceeded our expectations. We could not be more pleased with our choice. We loved the location; it is right there where buses run and it's right next to the city about 2 minutes bus-ride away. The rooms were very comfortable and considering there were live music downstairs, none of the noises affected us being in the rooms we had. The staff members were extremely lovely and very helpful. We wanted to know places near the city and Noah at the bar went out of his way to provide us with all the tips of places we needed to check out. Great tips too btw. The manager is great guy and also kindly came out to talk to us which was extremely nice. The Bar vibe was vibing and the live piano performances were exceptional. People who attend this venue are kind and everyone seems friendly. We can't recommend this spot enough and will certainly be coming back to stay the next time we visit Sydney.

Nice location and very clean.

Steps were a bit of a struggle with luggage.

It was close to the course I was doing. Staff were friendly and kind and loving. Not a large establishment. Close to a park, with restful nature to spend time with. Loud music. Too loud.

Light from billboards across the street made the room not very dark
