The staff was very friendly and always helpful. Free parking. Location is easy to get too. Beds are comfy and bedding smells nice. Second time staying now and have a lovely bathroom. There is a place to eat as well which has lovely food the staff there are very accommodating also. Everything seems to be freshly made even the bread which was amazing. Worth the stay. There isn't any wifi. Staff can be a lil noisy in the morning while cleaning other rooms, but besides that it's very nice, and good value for the price. Will definitely stay again.

Dirty, loud at night, uncomfy bed

Leaving I found blood on the mirror damaged to the walls and doors and no WiFi which was needed as this was a work stay

The location Dirty beer glass in my room. The water didn’t work properly for the first 2 days and was shooting very hot water at me. There was a leak in reception. The restaurant closed an hour before it was supposed to. The WiFi only worked in reception, they told me in wouldn’t reach the room. The seat at the desk in my room was very dirty. The receptionists were rarely at the desk (they were nice and helpful when they were there). There was a hole in the wall in the bedroom

Location Stains on the bedsheets. The fact that this hotel is actually being ran as a hostel to house addicts and immigrants (all mostly men) so definitely not suitable for children to be staying there . Also I ticked the option for a cot bed to be supplied at the booking stage , only to get there and no cot available. When I enquired about the cot , I was told none available as last person had broken it .

The hotel is very tired looking, it needs updating. The room was clean , but the tv remote had a battery missing. Not that I wanted to watch tv , but this I found disappointing.

The only good thing about our stay was the Italian Restaurant in the hotel. The lady behind the bar was lovely and welcoming, and the food was delicious! The staff in reception were not very welcoming, the rooms were absolutely filthy with paint and wallpaper falling off walls and ceilings and everything was dirty. The only thing that looked like had been made or cleaned was the bed, I only hope it was clean judging by the rest of the rooms we stayed in. In one of my work colleagues rooms, the house opposite could see him (above shoulders) in the shower, and in my room the house opposite could see absolutely everything if you dared to use the shower. There was a blind but it was half hanging off and didn’t close, and was filthy just like everything else in the room.

The location was not far from town Anything about the hotel, it was dirty, unkempt, holes in the bed bases as well as what looked like blood, knife mark in the wardrobe, broken mirror, rust, dust and limescale everywhere, a window that was peeling paint, mouldy and would not close. The list is endless, the sheets were clean but no towels in the room.( We were told they were in the laundry) As we arrived quite late we could not get anywhere else so had to suffer. My daughter fell on the dodgy floorboard and carpet that was loose at the top of the stairs, hurting her back.I complained at the point of seeing it,nothing was done so I reported to Booking.Com who did try to contact the hotel but they did not respond. I will take this further as my daughter is due an MRI scan on her back due to the fall. Stay clear of this place, it's like a halfway house/ squat, absolutely appalling that the owner can actually charge people to stay in a place like that, Oh and there was no teaspoon, Pure disgusting, they should be ashamed of themselves. They would get -1000 stars if I had the option.

The location. Reception staff, a lad who looked about 15, who did not have the best customer service skills. The lights in the bathroom didn't work. I brought it to the reception staffs attention straight away, but nothing was done. The bed was broken at the foot of the bed, but at the time I noticed, no staff were around. A fire alarm went off at about 4am, the staff did not make any effort to evacuate guests who were just hanging around outside rooms. The fire brigade responded, but there was no duty of care from the staff towards the guests. No communication. Apparently, according to the fire brigade, it was a faulty alarm.

Bed was very comfy. Room was quiet, and kept nice and warm. Staff were lovely The whole place could do with a bit of money spending on it. Bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned very well, but was serviceable enough. Bathroom light not working.
