The view is great and the location is close to down but the breakfast is very limited. Everything is old and dirty (rooms, bathrooms, furnitures). I don't know how this place gets a 9 on Bookings.com. We had the family suite and there are holes and cracks in the front doors. Rooms are dark and bathrooms are moldy.

We loved the breakfast—it offered a great variety of delicious food. We also enjoyed the beautiful morning view from our room and the pantry. The room seemed much older than we expected and had a slight musty smell. The bed sheets were in poor condition and smelled as if they hadn't been dried properly, which made them uncomfortable to use. We had to endure this for two nights, and unfortunately, I also ended up with what appeared to be bed bug bites.

They upgraded our room for the same price. Also, the artworks being displayed are beautiful. When we asked for assistance the staff are all nice and quickly responds.

Hot water from showers only lasts a couple of minutes.

The location is good. Excellent mountain views. The staff is very helpful, especially the lovely gentleman who's running the breakfast kitchen. Even with the limited knowledge of English, he can win your heart. Breakfast pho is amazing, good variety too. The view from the restaurant deck is top notch. There's a pizza place next door called Chicago. They have amazing pizza which you can smell from the hotel at all times. Go try them. One of the rooms we got (the family room) did not have a drain for the shower cubicle, instead the water went under the sink on the tile to a drain outside of the cubicle. This made the bathroom floor wet at all times. The exhaust fan worked, but appeared to have no suction, which made the wet floor situation worse. Apart from that, the rooms could have brighter paints and better lighting.

The room was very cold during December. We had to ask for 2 portable heaters but felt better after that. The hotel is located on a slope, which makes alighting or boarding from a car a little difficult.

Amazing location in town with a wonderful view. We were very lucky to get the 3 bedroom suite for our family which was huge! Mountain side location was great and you are right in town with a short walk to the market. Easy to arrange further transfers from reception. We turned up in the middle of the night so the 24hr reception was a life saver. Breakfast was very busy!

I don't have anything to complain about

The hotel wasn’t much to look at from the outside but boy was our anccomodation amazing. We stayed in the two bedroom villa and the view was beautiful, the beds were comfy, the bathrooms were well appointed. As we were travelling with young children we didn’t want to chance it so it was great that the hotel served a good buffet breakfast and delicious meals! The staff were super helpful - we were able to have a very early check-in and very late checkout for an additional charge, which was great as we had travelled to and from Sapa on overnight trains.

Everything was excellent. Stayed 2 nights with my family in the family room no.101. Cleanliness was good. Buffet breakfast was good. Services were very good. Helpful and friendly staff. The location was perfect, and nearby, many restaurants were available. Famous Sun Plaza is just 3 minutes walking. Air-conditioned did not warm perfectly. The shower water drainage system should be improved. Electric blanket should be provided for further improvement. Otherwise, it's a very good hotel indeed.
