Hyatt Centric Downtown Sacramento

Our stay here was great. We stayed for one night but the view was great and we were right next to a shopping center with nice night life. Very quiet and private and the breakfast was great too.

Amazing Stay!

Everything was wonderful, such a comfortable bed, clean shower and bathroom, quite rooms Only complaint was the room was very dark, the lights all worked but everything was very dim Everything else was amazing

I went downstairs to get a coffee and watched a male guest in front of me order a coffee from the restaurant. He was given the coffee without being charged or asked for a voucher. When I ordered a coffee immediately afterward, I was given a bill and told I had to pay. I questioned why I was being charged when I had just watched another guest receive the same coffee for free. I was then told that I needed a breakfast voucher. The problem is that I was never given a breakfast voucher at check-in, nor was I informed that one was required. If a voucher was necessary, this should have been clearly communicated to me and applied consistently to all guests. Witnessing another guest receive the same item without being charged, while I was immediately asked to pay, made me feel singled out and discriminated against. Whether this was staff error or something else, the treatment was inconsistent and unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews the situation to ensure all guests are treated fairly and consistently.

Our bartender was very efficient and friendly (can’t remember his name but he also spoke Spanish). The breakfast was amazing, I loved my French Toast. The staff in general was great 😊

Unfortunately, our stay was rather hectic. We waited in the valet line for 20 minutes, arrived to the front desk well after our check in time to be told our room isn’t ready yet which was irritating considering we paid a lot of money to stay a night and are told we need to check out by 11am. Front desk staff was very overwhelmed and I felt bad for them as they were set up for failure. Overwhelming amount of people waiting for their rooms and it seemed like there were no processes in place to streamline things.

This is a nice hotel that is within walking distance of the baseball park. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The valets were also very friendly (self-parking is a hassle so valet is best way to go). The room was clean and spacious.

The hotel offers a very clean and comfortably sized room. The food was good, and its close proximity to various downtown restaurants makes access very convenient.

There must be other options!
