Le Relais de Franc Mayne Saint Emilion

Beautiful chateau, large spacious room and bathroom - everything was so tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfast in the garden - my husband said it was the best omelette he's ever had! Rooms were quiet, we coudn't hear the neighbours. Staff goes above and beyond to assist us. The wine tour was also super interesting, we attended 4 wine tours in St Emilion and Franc Mayne did it the best! Veronique was knowledgeable and interesting and fun! We used the pool lots as we stayed during the heat wave - having a pool was godsend! Keep losing wifi in the bedroom - minor issue. 5G available in the property. Not a dislike but just be aware that the chateau is a 30 min walk into the village - lovely walk through the vineyard but less pleasant when its too hot. Staff can call a taxi for you but it costs EUR20 to get into the village and EUR30 to train station.

Beautiful, clean, luxurious and comfortable

Location, wonderful public areas, excellent breakfast and staff. You could really hear if anyone in the room above us walked across the room at all. Fortunately they weren’t active very often. Lights are all off or all on in the room.

Very nice place with possibility of a wine visit. Nice walk to the Saint Emilion center and calm area in the vineyard. Very welcoming with a good breakfast included.

Exceptionnel in every way. We arrived early, but in time for a wine tasting and tour of the cellars with Poétie, who gave us a very informative tour of the Château, with three wines to taste at the end. We then checked in and Rachel showed us to our room and explained the amenities. The property is a safe 15-20 minute walk to the village of St-Emilion, meandering through vineyards and then Chemin De Ramonet to the cathedral. Breakfast was a feast! Rachel was kind enough to prepare us a light snack for our early departure the following morning. She is a gem! The domaine also has a billiard room and board games, a lovely garden to sip wine…or Champagne, which is offered at a very reasonable price. Everything is well thought of.

The location is great -- you are surrounded by beautiful vineyards and can walk into Saint-Emilion town in 10-15 minutes. The staff is very friendly and the interior design is beautiful. We slept very well as it's so calm and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast service is 5 stars: delicious meal that includes homemade yogurt, granola, pastries, omelet, and fruit. And then to top it all off, your stay includes free access to the chateau's wine tour and tasting. Nothing.

Everything within the property was meticulously organized, and beautifully arranged for guests to enjoy their stay. Our treehouse room had incredible views of the vineyard and St. Emilion, with an incredibly comfortable bed, and access to the pool. The breakfasts were homemade by our host and chef de cuisine, from fresh squeezed orange juice to perfectly cooked omelettes. Our hostess arranged a crib for our baby, showed us around the property, and made every effort to provide comfort and ease for our stay at Franc Mayne. The wine tour is also such a delightful bonus of the stay. We will definitely be back as often they will have us. nothing.

Everything was spectacular and exceeded our expectations! We loved everything.

I spent 2 wonderful nights. The intimate B&B is beautifully appointed and furnished in the former winery residence. The location, a 10-minute walk to the town, could not be better. The hospitality is superb and personal. Included was a great tour of the hitoric winery and a tasting of Grand Cru wines. Also, a great breakfast is included.

Beautiful vineyard in Saint Emilion. We arrived and went on the tour which was included in the room. It was a beautiful day so we sat by the pool before check in. The room was bright and fun. The walk to town was 25 minutes through the vineyards. Nothing
