Big spaces.
-
They were very welcoming and great location. Nothing to think about.

All was great.
-
The hotel is an older, classic style. Hotel does not look like photo.
-
Location was lovely - walkable to the ocean, many restaurants, with close parking. The hotel had beautiful common areas. A great breakfast with everything you could want. Air conditioning, amazing!
-
Old infrastructure requiring more modern deco. Wooden floor noisy when neighbours walk.
-
Excellent location, very clean and spacious room, and extra pillows! We were just driving through, staying one night. Others might want something closer to the sea, but we found the location perfect.
-
All good. Typical Basque, family-owned charming hotel with functioning technology. Kind, attentive and proactive staff. See you again soon. N/A

A charming historic hotel with all the amenities, in a great location near lovely commercial streets and the beachfront walkway! We loved the old world details of the hotel even as our room had all the mod cons. Don't miss the Saturday market!
-
Great location; very friendly staff; very comfortable room; good breakfast; room was comfortable and a good space - we were lucky to have one with a big terrace. We are repeat visitors to this lovely hotel.

Friendly helpful receptionist. Excellent location. Free parking a few minutes away. Spacious bathroom. Tea/coffee available 24/7. Very good breakfast.
-
Old world feeling in a historical place yet with all the modern amenities. This is the best place to stay in St Jean de Luz, steps away from the main shopping area. Convenient parking behind the hotel. The grand staircase is a must see attraction that exudes basque architecture. Nothing at all

Location is perfect, our room was large and quite comfortable! Parking is available behind the property, but is public. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great staff and lovely old hotel With common spaces and about 6 minute walk to the beach. 5 minutes walk from Les Halle’s and about 5 min walk to the local park ( a hidden gem if you want a quiet picnic away from shopping and beach). It’s right next door to Carrefour city so plenty of juice, bread and anything else you need readily near. I took a walk through the cemetery which had the beat views. It’s right up The street from the hotel. Nothing really. It would be nice to have tea. In the room but it was nice to go down to the common space and get a cup and socialize.
-
Excellent shower, comfortable bed, wonderful lobby with free espresso machine, accommodating, helpful staff. Charming historic vibe. Wished we had a proper chair in our room, but really no place to put one. Room was a bit overpriced for the size of room we had.
-
Beautiful traditional hotel with contemporary facilities. The staff were wonderful.will definitely return
-
Fantastic location in a historic hotel. Breakfast is wonderful and staff so very helpful.
-
Friendly and helpful staff, grand entrance

The room was very well lit and ventilated, the bathroom was large enough and had everything we needed, everything worked well and the breakfast was good (without being exceptional). Very pleasant service and attention from the staff. The hotel is well located in a quiet area, and they offer drinks in a common room downstairs. Also, there are several places to sit at the end of the day, which makes for a nice addition. The breakfast room can get a bit crowded, and when this happens, the staff aren't able to fully restock the buffet, so one has to wait a while or choose the cold options.

This was a lovely hotel for a one-night stay. The front desk gave us a great recommendation for local Basque seafood restaurant.
